To spoil Katie Hopkins holiday by giving her a piece of my mind

I'm on a family holiday in a Mediterranean resort and guess who else is staying here?

I'm sorely tempted to go up and tell her what a horrible, hate filled, divisive person she is and that most educated and intelligent people in the country despise what she stands for.

No that would just be weird and she'd love it anyway. Also totally unfair on her kids if they're with her.
Just enjoy your holiday.

What Tinsel said

Vereesa · 02/07/2017 19:47

Bad publicity is better than no publicity. Think she'll be delighted you recognised her in the first place!

StillDrivingMeBonkers · 02/07/2017 19:47

Are you always so confrontational?

AvoidingCallenetics · 02/07/2017 19:47

No, it's rude. Not liking her isn't a good enough reason to hassle a person when they are on holiday (presumably with their children) and not doing anything to you.

PratStick · 02/07/2017 19:48

No.

Don't do that.

Go up to her and say, "Omg, I love you, can I get you autograph? "Can you write to Sophia, Love Vanessa Feltz for me?" I love you on the Breakfast show"

She hates fat people. It will kill her.

S0ph1a · 02/07/2017 19:49

Yes she's with her DD. And no, of course I wouldn't say anything in front of her child . Nor would I be agressive or swear because I am a naice polite MNer.

If it's any consolation, all the other ( British ) guests know who she is and everyone is pointedly ignoring her.

I'm enjoying your suggestions about red wine and laxatives though. I had the same thought about a large slice of chocolate gateaux at the buffet.

You could easily put on pounds here but I have to be honest and admit that she's about a size 10-12. I mean RL sizing, not daily fail sizing .

Also, you could end up getting a telling off from the hotel staff for harassing another guest.

kazza106 · 02/07/2017 19:49

Better to get a very unflattering picture of her and sell it to the press if you can 😬

NoFuckingRoomOnMyBroom · 02/07/2017 19:49

Ignoring her & not giving a shiny shit who she is will irritate her way more.
Acknowledging her in any way will give her validation.

AnyFucker · 02/07/2017 19:51

She has a cruel, woman hating schtick

So you could stare at her breasts or bum for a second too long and then gently smirk

MrsJayy · 02/07/2017 19:53

Id let her know i was ignoring her walk away if she comes near by tut and tsk everytime you see her but do not acknowledge her

Go up to her and say "Ooh you're that Esther Rantzen* off the telly aren't you."

  • substitute another name if you like.
DartmoorDoughnut · 02/07/2017 19:56

Accidentally trip over her whilst holding a glass of red Wine

MrsTerryPratchett · 02/07/2017 19:57

Greet her brightly at the buffet every day with, "As-Salaam-Alaikum". Should freak her out nicely.

AngelaKardashian · 02/07/2017 19:57

Completely off topic, but what is Daily Fail sizing?

(she's about a size 10-12. I mean RL sizing, not daily fail sizing)

S0ph1a · 02/07/2017 19:57

Well she's never done anything to me, because I'm not a refugee / asylum seeker/ immigrant / fat person / Muslim/ parent of a child called London/ lone parent / teenage mum.

But that doesn't mean I don't despise her hate filled, racist rants and the dissent that she sows in our society.

And she makes life harder for many people by encouraging others to marginalise them. So I don't feel a particular obligation to allow her to enjoy her holiday - not a right she extends to others.

I'm now sorely tempted by the Vanessa Feltz idea.

originalbiglymavis · 02/07/2017 19:57

Poor you. She'd put me off my breakfast. I saw her sauntering along Portobello looking smug. I only looked at her twice (I never recognise anyone) because she has very odd and rather unpleasant eyes. Like a goat.

I'd be worried that she was a scribbling notes in her green crayon about pale, wobbly-bottomed Brits abroad for her 'writings'.

AngelaKardashian · 02/07/2017 19:57

Good one MrsTerryPratchett

justkeepswimmin · 02/07/2017 19:58

Throw a drink over her on my behalf.

reuset · 02/07/2017 19:58

I can't imagine it would have much impact on her if you did, if that's any comfort, she must be used to people giving her a piece of their mind.

Waffles80 · 02/07/2017 19:58

Pratstick has the best idea.

CrazedZombie · 02/07/2017 19:58

Contact the Wright Stuff so they can debate term-time holidays or is it ok not to holiday with all your kids each time?
