To ask what your weight, height and dress size are?

I've seen loads of threads on here lately with people questioning how people can be a certain dress size at a certain weight.

I'm really interested to se how much it can vary from person to person and if people who are the same weight and height could be completely different dress sizes as I suppose muscle mass is a factor too.

Anyway, I'm rambling.

I'll start it off:

Height: 5ft 4.5
Weight: 8 stone 12 lbs
Dress Size: 10

5 ft 5 ins
11 st 3lbs
size 14 - 16 up top, size 12 on the bottom.

Big shoulders, big norks, muscular thighs, bit of fat round the tum ... and skinny wrists!

Size 8-10

5'3"
11st 3lbs (fluctuates a bit, but I'll call it that)
Size 12 top, size 12-14 bottom.

10.5 stone
Size 8-10

It's so unfair. I'm this weight after having 2 children but at my lightest weight of 11st in my early 20s I could never get below a size 14.

I saw somewhere that a dress size difference is 10lbs. I have to lose at least 1-2 stone to see any difference and even then it tends to come off my boobs first!

Saying that though, I can put a stone on and still be a size 10-12! I look a bit lean at the weight I am now.

Not sure re weight as a) our scales are broken and b) I hate weighing myself.

My weight has fluctuated quite drastically over the years. Due to an amazing metabolism, before I had kids I could eat whatever I wanted and do little to no exercise and yet remain at some point between a size 4 and a size 8.
It went up to a size 18 after having twins six years ago and now I find it massively difficult to stay in shape. It took me two years but I managed to get back down to size 8 - didn't last long!

My body is shaped like a block, , I don't go in at the waist. I am quite muscular though as I swim and walk a lot.

I feel your pain. I've lost a stone (from 16.5 - 15.4) and I've only just got back into a 16 but even when I was a "skinny" 12st I was still a 14! Mind you at 5"10 / 5"11 I'm wondering if we was a size 10 we'd look skeletal?!

(SIL (tiny in every respect!) compared me to an amazonian warrior princess.. made me feel a little better lol!)

Size 12. Occasionally a 14 in jeans. (I have huge hips! Meaning saggy arse jeans that fit around the hips or tight jeans that cut me in half but fit everywhere else! I don't wear jeans much!)

I have always been heavy! Even when I was a size 6-8 I was about 8st 10. I look a lot better as a gym toned 12 though.

This is interesting!
I am about 1-2 dress sizes larger than other people my height and weight. Clearly I am an odd shape.

Makes are inconsistent though.. ..ktown.

I can fit into some 8s if they're stretchy enough. I'm not an 8! No way!
