To ask what your weight, height and dress size are?

I've seen loads of threads on here lately with people questioning how people can be a certain dress size at a certain weight.

I'm really interested to se how much it can vary from person to person and if people who are the same weight and height could be completely different dress sizes as I suppose muscle mass is a factor too.

Anyway, I'm rambling.

I'll start it off:

Height: 5ft 4.5
Weight: 8 stone 12 lbs
Dress Size: 10

Think your dress size depends more on how you carry weight.

I'm 5'4" and 10st5lb and fit size 10-12. So border overweight, but I carry loads in my arms/legs and am top heavy. I have a smallish waist (for my weight) and small hips. My body measurements are 39-28-36, so my body can look quite slim but I hate my legs/upper arms

Two years ago I dropped yo ten stone and a size 12, I now feel forever depressed when I go into my wardrobe...

Yes some people don't seem to get that not only are there different weights and heights, but also small frame/large frame and different fat distribution/shapes.

People think I'm a smaller size though as my fat is stretched over a big frame. I was a size 10 once and looked ill.

My problem is that I have very broad shoulders but a flat chest, so it's hard to find flattering tops. They are all too saggy on the boob front.

If I am under 10.10 st I can get away with a size 12. That's my objective this summer!

When I was 9st+ I was still a size 10 but the waist band of jeans would dig into me.

The weight I am now I can squeeze into an 8. But when I was a bit heavier I was squeezing myself into a 10 which wasn't very comfortable

I'm underweight (BMI 17) but I comfortably wear a size 8 and 26" waist

I saw 23" and 24" waist jeans in GAP last night, and wondered how skinny those people need to be to wear those sizes?!!! Is it a height thing (if you're more petite then you can have a 24" waist but be a healthy BMI)?

I mean, I weigh heavy relative to my height and size, not that 13 stone is particularly heavy! Just realised that reads wrong

fibber Can I ask what body shape you are (out of genuine interest, no malice at all)? I'm five foot six and at 13st 5 I was a size 16. I'm an apple shape.

Have skinny bits (I think I have a lot of fat on a small frame-sparrow ankles and wrists with big boobs and a massive arse)

I wear a 23/24 waist. Think my BMI is fairly low 16-17 but it's the way I'm made so I don't give a shit really.
