To think it's not normal for an 18 year old to play video games on their day off? Mine doesn't move!

I love retro gaming. I even bought some super mario fridge magnets from sainsburys that were in the Father's Day gift section but I just HAD to have them love all the Pokemon games. I used to download quite a lot of the 'home made' versions made by fans of the series but a lot of the ROM downloads for the better ones have been taken offline now.

Currently playing Fallout3, never played it before but have finished 4 a few times. I've also just started a game of Football Manager with DP.

I'm 48 and I still play video games!

JoshLymanJr I quite enjoy playing the Lego games for some light fun, might be good for kids (disclaimer - I have no idea what a 6 year old may enjoy, my kids aren't even a year old yet, but I really hope they'll love gaming )

My nearly 7 year old ds enjoys the lego games, (batman, marvel, avengers, star wars etc), minecraft, plants vs zombies. Also disney infinity and lego dimensions, he gets a new add on every few weeks (has loads of disney infinity characters, not so many lego dimensions). Most of these were xmas or birthday prezzies this year and last.

Normal.

So delighted at the number of wow players on mumsnet! Not a community that I thought would cross over ha.

I'm new to wow (got into hearthstone via my OH) and currently levelling my mage so I can go and raid with my OH. We spend hours a week in our seperate offices in the house, chatting via discord and meeting in the kitchen for a brew occasionally ha.

Why would someone be weird because they have a different hobby to what you deem normal?

My 30+ year old hubby plays on his games. Only I'm his own time when kids are in bed. I take it your 18 year old has no responsibilities

All of mine, 21,20,18 and 16 all play video games and so doesn’t my 42 year old DH.

I'm a 28 year old woman, and on a rare day off work I play xbox all day. (Sims, GTA, pub g etc)

I also have a few hours when DD is at school!

Yep, my 19 year old works in tech, has a fancy looking gaming pc that he built set up in his room and if he's not out with his friends at gigs or the pub, he's on there playing online stuff. All his friends are similar.

I know this is a zombie, but I'm 32, off work until next Thursday and have spent most of this morning playing Pokémon X. It's too hot to go outside!

I'm in my 70s and play WoW and ESO every day. If an 18 year old is too old I hate to think what I am.

There is nothing like hacking and slashing your way through mobs in a dungeon if you're in a bad mood
