Might get crucified for this but....

She won.

She's had a lot to manage a response and a
Plan to deal with since she became PM.

I didn't vote for her. My partner did.

I feel a bit sorry for her.

Anyone else?

I wonder if the payout will equal what MPs get when they lose their jobs?

ALeapOfFaith · 17/06/2017 00:44

Sorry op, you really are flogging a dead horse.

FaithHopeCharityDesperation · 17/06/2017 00:44

Your list of her 'achievements' in this context are frankly laughable.

What tangible achievements has Jeremy Corbyn managed since Wednesday?

Hugged a few people, met some people, sent a few tweets & suggested that houses are requisitioned.

What a grafter.

reuset · 17/06/2017 00:44

Anyone else?

No, 'fraid not, OP.

Ceto · 17/06/2017 01:08

There is no way she could safely walk around that west London estate safely with the anger and emotion there.

Surrounded by police and security men? Come off it. If Sadiq Khan could cope with it, surely she could.

Ceto · 17/06/2017 01:09

And surely if it was safe for the Queen to talk to the victims, it was safe for May.

Highalert · 17/06/2017 01:11

I'd like a PM who did feel safe to walk amongst the people.

Says it all that she doesn^t..

BigYellowJumper · 17/06/2017 01:18

high

Yup. whether it was indeed safe or not isn't really the issue. The fact that it perhaps wasn't safe is enough for me to think she needs to go.

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 17/06/2017 01:26

For left wing campaign group read group of individual posters who are sick of Tory cuts.

Who are angry with the government and express it.

Its the Tories here who make the personal comments and digs against other posters rather than politicians.

Not called the nasty party for nothing

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 17/06/2017 01:28

You literally cannot express dissatisfaction with the current government on here without a group of posters coming along with the most utterly vicious and furious attacks.

Worse so now the Tory party are wounded.

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 17/06/2017 01:30

If you want a change in government you are told you are terrorist sympathiser or not caring about dead people, frequently.

Yeah that's not insulting

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 17/06/2017 01:33

I mean look at the vicious vultures circling round high and getting all sneery and moral.

Yuk.

Off to sleep now.

38cody · 17/06/2017 01:49

Big yellow
Some people might shout at her? Chuck some bottles? So fucking what? People died. If she's so strong and difficult, she should show some resilience.

So you think that TM going in to have bottles thrown at her head is a good solution do you? Grow up.

As for other posters saying security and police would be there you clearly didn't see the petrified mob storming the town hall today - the Police and security were shoved aside and looked petrified.
It is very tense, it feels very similar to the build up to last London's Riots and People are looking to blame someone.

BigYellowJumper · 17/06/2017 01:52

Point out where I said that she should have bottles thrown at her.

I said she should not be such a coward about the possibility of having bottles thrown at her.

Read properly before commenting and then we can talk.

Dawndonnaagain · 17/06/2017 02:49

38 I didn't see any petrified looking police, I didn't see a petrified mob either. I saw a peaceful protest that whilst admittedly storming a town hall, ensured that nobody was hurt. The police were on top of it very quickly. The people quite reasonably, were distressed and wanted answers. Many have nowhere to go, no food, are concerned about family and friends. As to the London Riots statement, what utter nonsense. A friend (aged 70) who was there said it was, under the circumstances, relatively calm. More inclined to believe him that the nonsense above.

BigYellowJumper · 17/06/2017 02:53

dawn I also didn't see any 'petrified' police, and tbh, if the police are petrified by a protest, they shouldn't really be in that job. But as you said, from the videos, they looked like they were just doing their job, as usual.

Of course it is tense and of course people are going to blame someone. Should people just roll over and accept it when their neighbours, friends and family are killed and injured in what appears to be a totally preventable fire?

I am pretty sure, in the same circumstances, we'd all be keen to find out who was responsible. I know I would, and I wouldn't be sitting around politely waiting until TM did an inquiry either.

feathermucker · 17/06/2017 03:00

I think she's ineffective as a leader. She's awful, quite frankly. She isn't compassionate in any way.

Feel sorry for her??? NOPE.

Peaceandharmony7 · 17/06/2017 06:40

One of the residents of the area has described her as cold, like a wet fish.

Couldn't agree more.

Her days were numbered anyway but this has again shown her lack of real empathy.

ddssdd · 17/06/2017 06:44

She would have been absolutely fine walking around there. But she chose to flirt with the fire fighters rather than speak to those poor individuals.

She is so clinical. And in a situation like this, she needs to lower her nose and show some compassion Angry

And we need an inquest, not a public inquiry.

Those poor people and families. It really is just so sad. And it was preventable.

surferjet · 17/06/2017 06:51

PM's are not social workers. It's not a prerequisite of the job to have the personality of Jesus ( although Jeremy is working hard on that one )

Throwing her into an angry mob would achieve what exactly?

Heaven forbid someone these days should not feel the need to rush to hog the limelight when there's a tragedy. Who might prefer to get on with the job instead of grandstanding. Who might not be that comfortable hugging complete strangers.
Some of the comments on Mumsnet recently, and in the media generally, make me ashamed to be part of the human race.

hog the limelight?

Nike - May is being expected to behave like a Prime Minister - nothing less than that. These are the citizens she has put herelf up to lead ......yet she cannot even get alongside them.
