Tory's win, but 314

seoulsurvivor · 09/06/2017 00:14

Glad Emily Thornberry isn't my MP.

So dull.

beepbeepimasheep · 09/06/2017 00:14

so far it seems to be 57% Labour and 33% Tory.

Dandandandandandandan · 09/06/2017 00:15

All she did was wriggle around like a worm on a hook and then say, "ah but have you asked a Tory MP that??" What a tool!

EpoxyResin · 09/06/2017 00:17

I love Thornberry, she's great, although she couldn't help but be a bit smug in that interview could she. Maybe had a glass of wine already I'd say!

Cinderllaspinkdresswasthebest · 09/06/2017 00:18

I would never get into an argument about who should vote for who - you base your vote on your personal circumstances.

I'm an NHS worker who in real terms has taken a pay cut over the years, watched services such as porters, domestics be privatised. Watched (IMO) the tories target the poor instead of the rich.

Any result other than the arrogant assumption May and the tories thought is going to come back and hit them hard. The majority don't believe spin - the majority watch and base their cross on facts - I was no Corbyn fan and before the last few weeks my cross would have been put elsewhere - the last 4 weeks or so? I have nothing but respect for the man when he's been vilified by press who is so biased it should be illegal.

Whatever the outcome tomorrow - Jeremy Corbin I apologise - I underestimated you and have gone beyond my expectations

ghostyslovesheets · 09/06/2017 00:19

ah she was a bit 'tired and emotional' - made me laugh!

cardibach · 09/06/2017 00:22

angel Corbyn isn't extreme - his policies are standard middle if the road Scandi left.

angelcakerocks · 09/06/2017 00:24

I disagree cardibach He's very left wing. Bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing perhaps.

metspengler · 09/06/2017 00:27

A wolf in wolfie smith's clothing.

angelcakerocks · 09/06/2017 00:28

AngeloMysterioso · 09/06/2017 00:33

Sky newsreader just said Broxbourne was in the East Midlands?!

Dandandandandandandan · 09/06/2017 00:36

Twitter saying con hold Nuneaton - did I miss that or does twitter announce it before the BBC?!

Dandandandandandandan · 09/06/2017 00:37

Yes, just coming on BBC now!!

ghostyslovesheets · 09/06/2017 00:38

hold but swing to labour

Dandandandandandandan · 09/06/2017 00:39

Well if you count 0.2%. The battersea win for labour is much more telling.

user1493759849 · 09/06/2017 00:42

I thought Emily Thornberry was fab. Loved her smug face. Smile

Hopefully she isn't counting her chickens though. A result isn't certain yet.

user1493759849 · 09/06/2017 00:43

It's labour 7, tory 4 at the moment.

beepbeepimasheep · 09/06/2017 00:44

It was 57%/33% Lab/Tory but it's now 49%/41%

metspengler · 09/06/2017 00:44

A couple of interesting swings to Labour so far.

EpoxyResin · 09/06/2017 00:46

Now 8 - 5. I think twitter's ahead of the tele.

cardibach · 09/06/2017 01:01

angel it's a fact - look at policies in Scandi countries.

beepbeepimasheep · 09/06/2017 01:02

Bad news in Darlington for the Tories.

brexitstolemyfuture · 09/06/2017 01:04

Rudd getting a recount, must be close!

Her and Clegg could both be sacked

OP posts:
CitrusSun · 09/06/2017 01:05

Would love to see back of May and Rudd, both disgraceful members of the female race

beepbeepimasheep · 09/06/2017 01:06

Yeah, what is it with female prime ministers? Blush
