I'm starting to panic conservatives will get in again. I don't think I can face it! I work for the prison service, NHS and have kids in school. I can't take any more hits to any if these services!!!! I've never voted labour before but I am so passionate about it now! Prisons r so unsafe right now! and the NHS cannot take any more hits. If things don't change soon I just don't think either of my jobs will be viable, and as for schools - they also cannot take much more of a hit.

Please join me and vote labour! (Sorry to all those that hate this sort of thread Sad not meaning to annoy anyone! just feel the onset of panic!)

OP posts:
LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 08/06/2017 01:29

Plus I can't take anyone seriously who posts in text speak

FuzzyPillow · 08/06/2017 01:30

YABU to tell anyone else how to use their vote.

But I would vote Labour anyway.

I'm done with dick-heads pleading with their bleeding fucking hearts all over social-media.

Do you think you're special? Do you think you have a hot-line to the truth?

I almost want to vote Labour, just so I can sit back in a couple of years with a smug fucking grin on my face thinking, 'I fucking told you so'.

But as I live in a marginal seat, I won't.

Do you really think you're so much more clevererererer than anyone else, and they've all got it wrong?

OK.

Jolly good, crack on!

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 08/06/2017 01:41

And the more sanctimonious Labour voters like you that I see, OP, well, it makes me far more determined to vote Tory.

user1473008242 · 08/06/2017 01:51

Erm no hell would freeze over before I voted labour it's good to see that there are some anti labour on this site I was starting to thing everyone was a lefty phew

Rinkydinkypink · 08/06/2017 02:24

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 08/06/2017 03:54

Yanbu to try to influence people to vote for the party you want to win.

I won't be voting Labour. Although its giving me no pleasure to vote conservative this time around, I'm no Theresa May fan (our Conservative MP is great though).

Labour really need to appeal to those more in the middle ground as well, like me. I wonder how Ed would have done this time round.

Don't worry yet - we don't know the result maybe JC will be PM!

HollyBollyBooBoo · 08/06/2017 04:15

Never ever whilst Corbyn is their 'leader' and Dianne Abbott is on the scene.

londonrach · 08/06/2017 04:37

Seriously corbin cant sort out his cabinet you really think he can sort out a country. This is the second one begging to vote labour. Yabvvvvvu as you have no right to demand people vote a certain way. In fact you find it goes the other way as gets peoples backs up.

franklyidontgiveadamscarlet · 08/06/2017 04:53

Who people vote for determine what will happen not for the time the people are in but the after affects of what they all leave behind.

Voting is a personal choice and I hope that everyone places their vote for the future of the country.

The world is watching England for the outcome.

Delilah37 · 08/06/2017 04:58

I don't think the OP is unreasonable.
I'm voting for Labour policies.
I'm considering education. The NHS, those with disabilities, the elderly, the emergency services.

For the many not the few.

malificent7 · 08/06/2017 05:31

Well people criticise labour for making a mess.
What about the Tories..?
Under their watch we have poverty, a shambolic Brexit, terroism -2 attacks in a few weeks and crumbling public services.... great.
Labour will be different under Corbyn.

BeBeatrix · 08/06/2017 05:35

Sorry to all those that hate this sort of thread sad not meaning to annoy anyone!

And yet - even as someone with plenty of sympathy for your preference and reasons - it really is annoying to have yet another thread about this.

Creampastry · 08/06/2017 05:40

Ok, I'll vote labour cos I love an Ira sympathiser and someone who has voted against every piece of anti terrorism legislation. Not.

Yabu

Natsku · 08/06/2017 05:45

Already voted Labour via postal vote. There's far too important things at stake to worry about personality politics which is shit anyway, this isn't America, we don't vote for the leader we vote for the party.

OhTheRoses · 08/06/2017 05:48

No chance.

NHS remember all that money Bliar spent on PCTs or all that PFI money enormous debt he bestowed.

MH is a disaster but it's partly due to how the NHS spends and allocates rather than lack of funds. Our local CAMHS team is so incompetent you really wouldn't want the numbers increased.

Idratherbeaunicorn · 08/06/2017 05:51

YANBU
Labour voter here too, OP. Genuinely concerned about what will happen to the NHS, or schools, human rights etc under another Tory government. My social media seems to suggest that most of the people I know are voting the same way, but I thought that about remaining in the EU and about the US election, but here we are with Brexit underway and a complete maniac in charge of the USA so who knows?!

SabrinaTheTeenageBitch · 08/06/2017 06:00

Im in the North East. Our area is always Labour held as 'we always vote labour up here' Hmm I know a lot of people voting Tory today including myself.

I was called a 'cunt' on Twitter a few days ago purely because I mentioned voting Tory. Whats that about? Some Labour voters seem to be very....forceful at the moment!

Greggers2017 · 08/06/2017 06:24

This is why I won't vote labour

To ask u to vote labour!!!!
olliegarchy99 · 08/06/2017 06:26

YABVU - and I hate text speak when not texting (it is very lazy) so could not be bothered to read past your thread title. Hmm

Soslowmo · 08/06/2017 06:33

I haven't been sure which way to vote, but am also suddenly panicking that the Tories will win.

I think most people are unaware of the mess the nhs and education is in. Schools are actually making TAs and learning mentors redundant at the end of this half term and that is just the beginning. Sad

user1495484765 · 08/06/2017 06:43

Can't vote for Corbyn, Diane Abbott or John McDonnell. 172 Labour MPs did not think he was fit to be Labour lead so why should the electorate have any faith in him? His MPs stood down from his shadow cabinet because they could not support him, he swiftly appointed some more, many inexperienced MPs, and some of them moved on swiftly too. That tells you something. If he does get elected his cabinet will be made up of inexperienced, hesitate to use the word dregs, of what is left. Momentum and communism have replaced socialism in the Labour Party. Also telling is that in his 30 years plus as an MP not once as a Labour lead or Labour PM invited him to join the shadow/cabinet.

We are in a mess at the moment but voting Labour in is not the answer. Labour went wrong when the wrong Milliband was chosen. Labour is a great political party but it has been hijacked by the hard left. We need a credible opposition but Labour are not it whilst Corbyn is in place.

I am voting Conservative, but only because they are the best worse option.

HaudYerWheeshtBawbag · 08/06/2017 07:16

YABU to _tell_anyone else how to use their vote

OP has not told anyone anything, she has ASKED, BIG difference

LittleBooInABox · 08/06/2017 07:21

Prisons are not that bad stop scare mongering. I work in one, and while there are issues, staffing is defiantly an issue. Which the government has been trying to tackle, increased wages etc.

As for drugs getting in, how do you propose the government stops that? It's a issue for the prisons to deal with. Higher security, visit bans, etc.

YABU too people will vote who they want, and you have to deal with it like an adult if you don't get what you want!
