I'm starting to panic conservatives will get in again. I don't think I can face it! I work for the prison service, NHS and have kids in school. I can't take any more hits to any if these services!!!! I've never voted labour before but I am so passionate about it now! Prisons r so unsafe right now! and the NHS cannot take any more hits. If things don't change soon I just don't think either of my jobs will be viable, and as for schools - they also cannot take much more of a hit.

Please join me and vote labour! (Sorry to all those that hate this sort of thread Sad not meaning to annoy anyone! just feel the onset of panic!)

Well, User, I guess God loves a tryer, as they say! Best of luck.

I think all our main politicians have similar key principles at heart, though their beliefs and ideas about how to achieve them differ.
We have more in common that that which divides us, as Jo Cox would have said.

MinkowskisButterfly · 07/06/2017 23:45

I am voting Labour tomorrow. However, I suspect that the conservatives will win (sadly), the best we can hope for is for the tories to NOT get the landslide they expect.

SarfEast1cated · 07/06/2017 23:46

I want more money for education, nhs and social care, and for Brexit to go away.

HappyFlappy · 07/06/2017 23:46

Always, always, always vote AGAINST the Conservatives.

Will vote for whoever has the best chance of kicking them into touch in our area, so as not to split the vote and let the twats i by the back door.

Would LOVE to see Labour (REAL Labour - not that Tony Blair warred-down Conservative-by-any-other-name shite) get in, but realistically I think the best we can hope for is to stop the Tories from gaining an overall majority.

But I hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

HappyFlappy · 07/06/2017 23:47

*watered-down, not warred-down . . . . oh - I don't know, though . . . .

Highalert · 07/06/2017 23:47

Get on with voting shafting the poor you mean.

User12345678912345 · 07/06/2017 23:47

Smile cheers Pentapus!

LISTEN to public servants who saw the mess labour made of it all last time!

Or listen to public servants telling you after 7 years of coalition and now Conservatives our country is suffering slow growth, increasing gap between the very wealthy and the rest of us and our public services seriously underfunded. Labour's time ended after the global crash which effected the majority of high GDP countries.

Mainlywingingit · 07/06/2017 23:48

No

AngryofTunbridgeWells · 07/06/2017 23:49

OP I too am more caught up in this election than I have ever been before and, yes, I too will be voting Labour!

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 07/06/2017 23:50

I would if I lived in England. Here I need to vote snp to keep tory mp out

I'm in Scotland but I need to vote Tory or Lib Dem to eject the SNP no.

moreslackthanslick · 07/06/2017 23:53

Oh fuck off!!!

Storminateapot · 07/06/2017 23:54

Not a chance. I won't be voting Tory either, but I live in a seat that's been Tory since the 19th century so it makes little difference what I vote. I might have considered it if they weren't an absolute shambles and I have voted labour in the past, but not for this lot, sorry (not sorry).

HookandSwan · 07/06/2017 23:58

Already voted via postal, sorry but not a labour Vote

Uninspirednamewise · 08/06/2017 00:03

OP, I think you should be asking people to research their own constituency and vote tactically anti-Tory. In many cases that will mean voting Labour, but in a constituency like (say) Richmond Park where there is an incumbent Lib Dem and Labour have no hope of winning, a Labour vote is just a missed opportunity to help keep the Tory out.

SheRaaarghPrincessOfPower · 08/06/2017 00:04

Postal labour vote here.

I truly don't understand how anybody can vote for a party that cuts education and health.

PLEASE vote Labour. If you're a Labour party member and don't like Corbyn, why don't you vote Labour? It HAS to be better than the alternative!

SlothMama · 08/06/2017 00:07

YABVU
Just because you ask people wont vote for the outcome that you want!
I already voted and it was not for Labour, that party needs to get its act together before I would ever considering voting for them.

User12345678912345 · 08/06/2017 00:10

I know sloth.. ! but desperate times! ... (bit harsh with the 'very' unreasonable though? .. I did apologise in advance in my thread to all those that don't like this kind of thread!!) Wink

darklady64 · 08/06/2017 00:10

No. Sorry, but no. And I'm not going to justify my vote to anyone. It's between me and the ballot box.

GretchenFranklin · 08/06/2017 00:39

You are not unreasonable OP.

I can't stand Tories. I can't bear them, honestly. But there's very little that will sway most of them. Don't despair!

Labour are an amazing movement at the minute, be proud to vote for them.

PotteringAlong · 08/06/2017 00:57

You can ask me to, and I will politely say "not a chance" and exercise my democratic right to vote for someone else.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 08/06/2017 01:05

FFS not other fucking thread telling people to vote a certain way.

How many people do you think you will influence in this left wing echo chamber?

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 08/06/2017 01:06

And you know most people are intelligent enough to make their own minds up and don't need to be told who to vote for?

ILikeyourHairyHands · 08/06/2017 01:23

You can ask me whatever you like.

And I can conversely tell you to Fuck Off.
