To think Ariana Grande is fucking amazing for doing this concert

Whatever the reason the Manchester bomber chose her concert to commit his atrocity must play on her mind so it takes some serious balls to come out and do this.

I've never heard of any of her songs though!

I can't belive anyone could receive her actions negatively.

She has been absolutely amazing.

Respect to Ariana ❤️

Fontella · 04/06/2017 22:35

She was fucking great

HateSummer · 04/06/2017 22:36

I'm a bit disappointed that years and years down the line when people are learning about these events in history classes, Ariana Grande will be discussed. She's not really someone who will ever be forgotten about now, whereas before she probably would've gone down into the popstar oblivion. Her songs are crude like about her being unable to walk from having so much sex. I don't understand how people are calling her a great role model when her videos are verging on pornographic Confused. I would never let my dd emulate her.

But yeah, going back to a place where you could've died is a big deal and it's nice of her to meet the injured kids.

CressidaTheHeathen · 04/06/2017 22:36

I'm amazed at how many people haven't heard of her!

Then again, I have kids aged 10-13 who grew up on Ariana Grande Smile

I like her a lot. She's a sweet girl. And I understand people calling her a kid - she's definitely younger than her years.

llangennith · 04/06/2017 22:38

She must've been really scared so it's very brave of her. And the other performers too.

Bearbehind · 04/06/2017 22:39

Well done rainbow, I'm sure you must feel very proud you got my post deleted.

seriously, how do you live your life with so much hate and negativity inside?

What else could Ariadne Grande have done?

Nobody needs to become known outside the teen scream circuit in the way she has. Horrible way to get famous.

I think we all got some fun out of some parts of that concert , so good on all who performed.

Bearbehind · 04/06/2017 22:40

Bloody auto correct- Ariana.

OP, I wouldn't presume to tell you how to post but she's not worth it. Don't let her derail.

Let's try to remain positive on your thread. Flowers

Thanks walter

She's not my cup of tea but she has a great voice and night was a tonic, especially Coldplay and Liam Gallagher but then I am an old duffer in my 40s.

NoLoveofMine · 04/06/2017 22:44

I'm amazed at how many people haven't heard of her!

I suppose unless you or someone you knew was into her you'd not have. I hadn't until the horrific attack on her concert.

A strong young woman who cares about her fans and has done something which means a huge amount to many is how I see her now.

alleypalley · 04/06/2017 22:45

YANBU. When I first heard it announced I did think it was too soon, but actually it's been amazing, and even though it's not been my kind of music for the most part, I watched it all the way through.

passmethewineplease · 04/06/2017 22:47

I'd just ignore the negativity tbh, it's not needed, unfortunately some people will always try and find the bad in things.

I think she's done brilliantly. She doesn't need the publicity anyway! To pull all that together in such a short space of time is fantastic.

She's visited countless fans in hospital and put smiles on their faces.

Piers Morgan tweeted her to apologise and to say that he misjudged her..never thought I'd see him apologise!

I've just read something that says she has offered to pay for the funerals, has donated a million dollars, has donated the money from one of her songs and some other stuff.

She is a woman in the wrong place at the wrong time and has done all she possible could as far as I can see.

What better role model could you really ask for today?

BillSykesDog · 04/06/2017 22:50

Really amazing. Was very impressed with Miley Cyrus too. And Justin Bieber normally seems like a little twat but kudos to him too for acting like an adult for once.

NoLoveofMine · 04/06/2017 22:50

Bearbehind she seems lovely and I think the vast majority of people both on this thread and in the wider public agree with you. The joy she brought to so many at that concert tonight says it all.

passmethewineplease · 04/06/2017 22:51

Quite agree Navy. Was just an observation that's all.

DesignedForLife · 04/06/2017 22:51

She's awesome. So inspiring to many young women to stand up and be bold.

RainbowJack · 04/06/2017 22:52

Bearbehind You're the one obsessively name checking me to throw bile at me. Obviously it's not me with hate and negativity inside.

She's a young popstar. Of course this has all been set up to paint her in a certain light, her whole image is manufactured. Just because I can think critically and don't fall in line with the whole oh isn't she so brave you're intent on spitting venom at me. How bizarre.

dontbesillyhenry · 04/06/2017 22:52

So much love for Ariana

This will be the first time she's performed since that terrible night where her fans were killed at her concert. That is a horrific burden to shoulder. She is back in the city where it happened, recalling the crowds, the noise, the excitement but also a very emotional somber mood.
Anyone who slags her off for this is a massive haddock

Bearbehind · 04/06/2017 22:53

I know it makes me sound ancient but I was surprised but the fact the younger stars all look so 'normal'

If I'd seen Miley Cyrus or Justin Bieber in Tescos I wouldn't have looked twice!
