to try to help Europol with child abuse cases?

Europol are asking people to review 20 images of everyday objects to try to get a lead in child abuse investigations. If they can work out the manufacturer or even just the country where something is sold it could be the break they need to track down the perpetrator and rescue the child(ren) at risk.

Please could everyone take a few minutes to look and see if you recognise any of the items? They include things like the logo on a child's pyjamas and a toilettry bottle. There are no children in the images.

As there are Mumsnetters all of the world and many will have children I hoped there was a chance at least that someone would recognise one of the objects.

Hopefully the hive mind of Mumsnet may be able to help them narrow down the country of origin of the objects.

More info here.

Thank you Flowers

Bumping the thread

ShuttyTown · 09/08/2017 15:19

God it's so hard to look at when you see shoes and teddy bears. Poor poor babies

alarox · 09/08/2017 15:38

The street light is hard to pin down. This is the closest I could find to the style, still not quite right though. I asked on a street light enthusiast forum if anyone could identify it, but got banned for "spamming" Confused

The cloud print is equally tricky to pin down on a Google search. Anyone else having better luck?

Of the current set, I think image 1 is a storm drain in Playa Las Americas, Tenerife. I've submitted it. It's so sad looking at these images Sad

Is it just me or does this look like a box of nitrile gloves? No luck googling so far though.

The gloves are size medium, we use the same in work (care).

HoofWankingSpangleCunt · 15/08/2017 11:20

That Rayman one looks like a handheld playstation console bag relating to the game Rayman Origins or Rayman Legends.
Sickening images.
Thanks Op for sharing.

HoofWankingSpangleCunt · 15/08/2017 11:23

I meant to add that I have passed on my idea to Europol.

This is harrowing. I didn’t recognise anything. Bump

PerkingFaintly · 18/11/2017 15:42

Devils, mention it anyway? Then Europol can ask Nestlé, who may be able to give a lot of detail.
