to try to help Europol with child abuse cases?

Europol are asking people to review 20 images of everyday objects to try to get a lead in child abuse investigations. If they can work out the manufacturer or even just the country where something is sold it could be the break they need to track down the perpetrator and rescue the child(ren) at risk.

Please could everyone take a few minutes to look and see if you recognise any of the items? They include things like the logo on a child's pyjamas and a toilettry bottle. There are no children in the images.

As there are Mumsnetters all of the world and many will have children I hoped there was a chance at least that someone would recognise one of the objects.

Hopefully the hive mind of Mumsnet may be able to help them narrow down the country of origin of the objects.

The black object on the nightstand looked like it could be some kind of spray tanning machine.

Unfortunately I didn't recognise any. Made me feel quite upset looking at the pictures knowing that they are the background of some absolutely sickening stuff 😢 those poor babies.

The second image looks like a Fisher Price toy. Shoe House. The old woman who lived in a shoe? The front of the she opened up to reveal the inside of the show.
My daughter had one when she was aged four or five. Circa 1986/87? Don't know if they are still in production.

It does look like a Tesco bag like this one.

I've sent them these photos to compare.

You're right dancing, the letters match up, both the RON from STRONG and the G above it, from 'Bags' also the type of lettering on the top line. You can see the C and the L from CLEANER.

Is it my computer or are most of the images very indistinct and blurry? I couldn't see much detail in some and couldn't tell what I was looking at :(

Well done to those who have worked out what some of the items are. It's the first time I've felt sick just looking at everyday things.

I recognised the tesco bag, the cigarettes and the tatty teddy. I don't know how helpful that will be because will be widely known but god that was frightening

Recognised the swimsuit, the text on the tshirt and possibly also the moustache necklace, so have passed on info on all of the above. Hope it helps.
