Food was nearly done, and then I heard it switch off without beeping I went over to it and it started going on and off on and off. I got very nervous, So unplugged it. This is never happened before, so I don't know what happened. so unplugged it. This is never happened before, so I don't know what happened.

THERE IS another microwave but I don't know where it is plugged into. And I'm afraid to touch anything right now. I was about to start heating something up in the microwave.

Can I just say I love the idea of a conviction oven?

"Shall we proceed, mighty oven?"

"Yes my liege for I have seen the light and BELIEVE we will prosper, onwards, onwards for glory!"

... Can you google the make and look at well-known error messages?

ExplodedCloud · 30/05/2017 07:53

I'm Sorry, I've no advice at all but I'm very much enjoying the idea of a conviction oven.
I'm just going to crisp up my convictions for 20 minutes Grin
Am sure somebody who isn't hysterical through lack of sleep will be along soon...

SmileEachDay · 30/05/2017 07:56

Why are you cooking fish at 7.45?

Also love the conviction oven - does it make convictions more firm and unmovveable? May could have used one on Paxman last night

hellokittymania · 30/05/2017 07:57
Grin

Laughing but that scared the heck out of me. Do they look cooked at least? I don't know if it was the oven or if it's the socket? The clog felt quite hot when I unplugged it.

OP posts:
ExplodedCloud · 30/05/2017 07:58

Actually it might not be right if the plug's hot.

hellokittymania · 30/05/2017 08:00

Because I'm craving Fish and rice. I might not try the rice though.

Does anybody have any idea where the plug might be for the second microwave? If the socket has overheated I don't want to touch anything.

It seems to have lost it's conviction.

hellokittymania · 30/05/2017 08:04

I don't know where the second microwave or fridge is plugged. But if one socket is faulty, will it affect the fridge and other microwave

Is the oven wearing clogs?

Is it a ......Dutch oven?

ShatnersWig · 30/05/2017 08:06

It got sent down.

hellokittymania · 30/05/2017 08:07

I'm trying not to blow things up in here! Why does this have to happen on a Tuesday morning ?

OP posts:
hellokittymania · 30/05/2017 08:10

Please, if you know about sockets and electrical things, help me please!

SoupDragon · 30/05/2017 08:10

You can tell if fish is cooked by cutting it open and looking. I'm only really here for the convictonoven which has made me smile this morning :)

Is it the plug or the socket that was hot?

hellokittymania · 30/05/2017 08:11

Dragon both were hot. Visually impaired so cannot rely on my vision to check the fish. I won't eat it unless I am sure it's cooked and I don't know.

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 30/05/2017 08:11

The fridge is likely to be plugged in behind itself.

GaryGilmoresEyes · 30/05/2017 08:12

Im sure you have a conviction that all will be well in the end.

SnickersWasAHorse · 30/05/2017 08:12

Am I alone in having no idea what it going on?
What is a conviction oven and why is it wearing clogs.
How can you have a microwave but have no idea where it is plugged in?
On a serious note plugging a high voltage item in on one of those adapter blocks is a bad idea.

I saw a oven! Where? There on the stair! Where on the stair? Right there! A little oven with clogs on! Well I declare! Going clip clipity clop on the stair!

SmileEachDay · 30/05/2017 08:12

OP no one is going to be able to tell you - we aren't in your kitchen.

Just leave it unplugged and go to McDonalds for a fish burger. Although you might have to wait. Do they serve them at breakfast?

Then find an electrician who can actually advise you.

MackerelOfFact · 30/05/2017 08:13

Why did the conviction oven turn itself off?

Because it was serving time.

fanfrickintastic · 30/05/2017 08:13

If it hasn't blown the fuses then the other appliances will be fine. Only you can tell if they are cooked - are they (or were they) piping hot in the middle?

MintToBee · 30/05/2017 08:14

Pull the fridge out. The socket's are most likely to be there. My integrated appliance socket's are all in the back of the units.
Plus, have you got the manual to check the error codes?

BMW6 · 30/05/2017 08:14

Don't mess with electrics - ever.
Have a bowl of cereal instead and ring an electrician.

hellokittymania · 30/05/2017 08:14

I always go by the time it was in the oven, this time I don't know. Does it look cooked
