I like those trousers with brown heels, white t or shirt, lovely chunky necklace - and brown bag it could work, I also like the pink dress earlier and the yellow kaftan.

I even likethe top in the op - again with white jeans, a nice bag it could loook lovely.

I have other massive issues with m and s and massive issues with other clothing they have, in my local store its all far worse than that.

The black version of the Dress of Ugliness might work rather well as a Halloween costume.Grin

I love this thread.
See here's another one. Even the model looks a bit glazed over as if the item of clothing is too much for her.
The material is wrong for the cut and the style. The sleeves don't work, the length and the neckline is wrong nothing about it makes even this attractive women look her best. Therefore your average chick will look like a sack of spuds in it.
The price is outrageous too.

Lazy

@Blowingthroughthejasmineinmymi , yes if you are Kate Moss wafting through a Cannes garden at midnight clutching a gitanes cigarette and a mint julep after a heady day lounging on a yacht getting your slinky frame burnished by the sun.
Not if you are Jane from Clacton size 16 and 5ft with a nasty case of sweat rash lumbering along in the Algarve with two kids and a cool bag

Top isn't that bad, though I wouldn't choose it. That pink dress is truly horrible.

KenAdams · 15/07/2017 00:02

It did make me laugh when I read MN Swears By earlier as apparently we're all swearing by a very similar dress to that pink one 😂

But that one's actually cotton, Ken. With rolled, not fluted sleeves. And above, not below knee length. And not in bubblegum pink.

So not at all like the M&S pink dress.

I've noticed that the M&S sale seems unfathomably huge, this season!

Gingernaut · 17/07/2017 16:46

@GallicosCats

Not as long and without the giant V back, but Debenhams have this in this season's 'COLLECTION' for £29. 🕸 🎃

Also available in sunshine yellow and black with a stylised daisy print.

Similar fabric to our favourite! Grin

I quite like that black Debenham's dress.

leccybill · 17/07/2017 21:42

I'm annoyed with M&S today. Ordered some holiday clothes for DD in the sale last Wed to be click and collected today. Email today saying all cancelled - they can't be fulfilled? Why let me order them then?!

Balaboosteh · 17/07/2017 22:15

I just did the m&s sale and found some really nice things, I was surprised!

Gingernaut · 18/07/2017 00:49

There are some nice things, but there's an awful lot of orange lace and scary patterns going on too.
