AIBU?

To want a nice thread?

Yeah yeah, I know.
But every other thread is some weird troll trying to convince me their teenager is doing something obscene or someone being disingenuous about family size, meal size, parenting or pet ownership in order to start a ruck.

Anyway.....
I have a new shed and its gorgeous and I painted the inside pink and the outside sage green. I had the day off today and met a friend for coffee in our lovely park and then had another round for lunch IN MY SHED.
And it was sunny all day and I did way over my 10,000 steps.

Only slight negative is that I can't get the sage green paint off my fingernails.

So what nice things did you do today or think today or hear today?

I have a feeling my 'nice thread' could spark off some 'AIBU to think that people shouldn't boast about THEIR SHEDS' type OPs

Sorry not sorry

Oh I love pink!

I'm currently in my smelling all fresh from the line pink and green The Range bedding!

I worked today and enjoyed having my ds come home in a good mood.
Enjoyed a chat with my mum who's off on holiday tomorrow having finished her chemo and before her Op. mostly chatted a pout how she's going to have gorgeous weather and deserves some luck!

And slow cooked a joint of gammon!

Now I'm sulking because I want a pink shed!

My shed has a nice story too.
Its quite sad but still nice.
I had a lovely friend. She was my oldest friend.
I lost her two years ago. I was able to be with her throughout most of her illness and went to a lot of appointments with her. She made me do fun and exciting things. I was also with her in her last hours (not just me, her family too).
Her mother sent me and some other friends who had supported her daughter some money.
I wanted to spend it on one special thing that would last.
So I bought my shed and paid someone to put it up.

My special shed.

I'm pregnant after a MMC back in October and almost 2 years of trying. I know there's no guarantees but I'm so happy that we were able to conceive again and just over the moon that this might finally happen for us.

I had my car serviced today in a new place at the arse end of nowhere, after walking around the trading estate on the edge of town I found a Wetherspoons and had a smoked salmon bagel, a bottomless coffee, read the paper and browsed Pinterest.

I was almost sad when they phoned to say my car had sailed through and was ready...

I think that the cat has finally forgiven me for having dd (7m)
She has started coming up to bed for a cuddle with me like she did pre-baby.

I put dd into bed with us when she woke up early this morning and we nodded off for an hour. When I woke up dcat was asleep at the bottom of the bed.
Dh was off work today too so it was lovely to have all four of us cuddled up together. Smile
