Yeah yeah, I know.
But every other thread is some weird troll trying to convince me their teenager is doing something obscene or someone being disingenuous about family size, meal size, parenting or pet ownership in order to start a ruck.

Anyway.....
I have a new shed and its gorgeous and I painted the inside pink and the outside sage green. I had the day off today and met a friend for coffee in our lovely park and then had another round for lunch IN MY SHED.
And it was sunny all day and I did way over my 10,000 steps.

Only slight negative is that I can't get the sage green paint off my fingernails.

So what nice things did you do today or think today or hear today?

Aw this is nice OP.

I just had a huge bowl of bolognese with lots of Parmesan on top.

TheFirstMrsDV · 22/05/2017 21:26

Do you want to see?

SmileEachDay · 22/05/2017 21:27

YES!!

ILoveDolly · 22/05/2017 21:27

I was working from home today and it was sunny so I ate a lovely avocado wrap in the sunshine all alone with a book. Only half an hour but it was LUSH

IndianaMoleWoman · 22/05/2017 21:28

With a heavy heart and a trembling debit card I took my car to the garage this morning. Turned out it was a simple fix and they did it whilst I waited. For FREE!

TheFirstMrsDV · 22/05/2017 21:29

Oh ok. If you insist. Bear in mind my garden is not big enough for me to get far away enough to photograph its full majesty.

We had bolognese tonight too.
But no wine Sad

I also managed about five pages of a book on Sunday when the kids were in swimming class. I will have that book finished by the time I'm 60

Oh my, MrsDV

That. Is. Lush.

TheFirstMrsDV · 22/05/2017 21:32

I had a lovely snuggle with my dp this morning. Snogs and tea in bed, the lot! Grin

SumThucker · 22/05/2017 21:33

Ooh lovely shed, I want one! I've got fond memories of playing in my Grandad's.

My nice thing from today was finding an old photograph I thought I'd lost years ago, was a lovely flush of nostalgia.

Reow · 22/05/2017 21:33

That is an excellent shed. Congrats OP.

TheFirstMrsDV · 22/05/2017 21:35

Thank you.
It all pink inside. On Saturday I went to The Range and bought a Unicorn's head that neighs when you walk past it. I also purchased a set of flamingo solar lights. Such class.

Your shed is amazing! 😍

I'm very jealous!

Highalert · 22/05/2017 21:36

Lovely shed.

All my solar lights are on.

SmileEachDay · 22/05/2017 21:36

A unicorn head, you say?

ZeldaWasMyGransName · 22/05/2017 21:36

Wowzer.

SelfObsessionHoney · 22/05/2017 21:38

Ooh the shed sounds lovely. As do the range purchases.

I saw my beautifully pregnant best friend and we shared pregnant moanings together. It was lovely to get it all of my chest to someone who understands.

Also my plasterer turned up today. And hopefully will have the work finished by tomorrow so I can make a start on the decorating on Wednesday, AND my mum and aunty have volunteered themselves and their paintbrushes in order to get the house sorted before baby comes.

I bloody love my family.

Highalert · 22/05/2017 21:38

I think I need a flamingo solar light.

UrsulaPandress · 22/05/2017 21:40

Wowzer.

Who was it that had people in the next door shed?

NorksAreMessy · 22/05/2017 21:41

COLOURHUGS shed! That is fab, MrsDV.
Are any of the boys allowed in or is it a female only space?

Sn0tnose · 22/05/2017 21:41

That's not just a shed, that's a garden room! It's bloody fabulous and I love your lanterns & bird table.

I have done bugger all except laze about on the sofa all day, pretending I can't see everything that needs doing.

ghostyslovesheets · 22/05/2017 21:42

it's lovely!

I got an unexpected and large cheque in the post today - which was great - so I have purchased a new liner for the hot tub - and now we WILL have another hot tub summer of fun Grin

caoraich · 22/05/2017 21:42

Oh wow. Now that is a lovely shed. You should go on that small spaces programme, you could say it's a mini yoga retreat or something Grin
I also like your bird table

Today my dad agreed to build me a fancy cat-shed. Because obviously cats need sheds. It will have a tunnel to the house and mesh instead of walls, so they can get outside and have fresh air, look at birds etc. without getting squished on the road. I am very excited.

TheFirstMrsDV · 22/05/2017 21:43

Its MY shed. No boys allowed. Nuh uh.
You can just see the unicorn head in this picture.
And this is my little flock of flamingos
