I started off thinking I'd vote SNP but I've definitely settled on Labour.

I'm not pretending that any if the available options are perfect but I feel like every time Theresa May talks about Brexit and "stands up" to Europe (our closest ally and trading partner ffs), it's a bit like cringing as a racist out of touch relative starts spouting off at a party and praying to God they don't say anything too damaging for the sake of the family's reputation.

As for strong and stable....

However, I can't pretend that Labour are much better, I just know that their view of society chimes more closely with mine.

I don't want to start a bun fight, I just want to gauge how dramatic this Tory landslide is going to be or if there's still some hope....

Dons hard hat and awaits flaming!

Hammond, Hunt and Buffoon Boris have all been locked in cupboards already.

Where'd you all go I was enjoying your thread. :)

SNP took our constituency at the last election, which had been Liberal Democrat held for years.

I won't vote SNP as I think independence is not a good idea. Plus I don't really trust them for some reason. Blush

I've mostly voted Labour in the past, I think lib dem once or twice. Not a Conservative voter!

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 01/06/2017 22:26

SNP took our seat for first time. It had been Lib Dem for a long time and before that Conservative. I'll be voting whichever of Tory or Lib Dem has the better chance of winning.

Yaralie · 02/06/2017 09:35

The Tories will win this election and we need more Liberal Democrats who will fight for an open, fair and tolerant Britain and campaign strongly against a damaging hard Brexit.

If your constituency was LibDem before, it could be again. The party has been badly treated and deserves your support.

I have just listened to a BBC breakfast discussion in Dunfermiline where the Tory candidate said that the LIbDems supported the SNP and wanted another indyref - an absolute LIE. Only the Green party support the separatists. The LibDems believe strongly that we are better together.

Please vote Liberal Democrat.

Despite my tactical vote they pipped it by two...

Hopefully a bit of a wake up for all this independence referendum nonsense losing a load though.

BanyanTree · 12/09/2017 12:12

I voted Tory. Next time I won't bother to vote as either way it is all a bag of shite.

peachgreen · 12/09/2017 13:47

I live in NI. Voted Alliance in the last election to try to oust the DUP. Next election I'll be in a different area and will vote Green happily - Alliance's wishy-washy stance on abortion drives me bananas, whereas the Greens are openly pro-choice.

If I was in England I would vote tactically in my area to keep the Tories out.

5rivers7hills · 12/09/2017 13:57

I've voted Lib Dem (LD v Tory in that borough) then Labour then Con then Labour.

SilverySurfer · 12/09/2017 14:48

I'm still a Tory voter. The alternatives are risable. Labour - led by someone who has never had a real job in his life, plays at student politics, friend of IRA, Hezbollah and Hamas, economically illiterate, hates his own country. LibDims - full of moany whiny, bleating Remainers and zero policies except to stop Brexit which was decided upon by a democratic referendum. Green - bonkers, unworkable policies etc.

SilverySurfer · 12/09/2017 14:48

risible*
