To ask cat owners for good name suggestions?

Getting a kitten soon. DH doesn't care for cats or their names, four stupid suggestions from DC's. AIBU to think that Play-Doh, Meatballs, Tootsie and Muppet are all truly dire names for a cat that I will have to call -loudly - (not them).

AIBU? If I'm not can cat owners give me some genuine non-twatty suggestions for the new kitten?

I like those names (Play-Doh, Meatballs, Tootsie and Muppet) and also think that 2 syllabal names work best, but there is always a nickname too, for example we had one that was called Mog, but we also called him Moggie, The Mogster, Moomin, Moggie Moo etc.

Watching with interest as I foster rescue kittens and some of them come to me unnamed and I have to give them names and I'm struggling to think of new ones.

Why only one though? Most kittens like a companion to play with and cuddle upto when sleeping. I've got a brother sister pair that I've had since they were about 6 weeks old and they are inseparable

Ours is Hamilton. I also like Amadeus for a boy cat, or Roxy for a girl.

We already have one, his sister died getting another one for companionship so our kitten isn't lonely. We already have Maximillian (Max, Maxxy)

We have smudge and clyde, was originally bonnie and Clyde but bonnie sadly passed no thanks to next doors pitbull

We have also had Toby, Pebbles, Hemlock, Tabitha, Pickles and Sooty

We have a gizmo. He was a gizmo when I got him from the blue cross.

A Grey kitten i would probably name smokey, misty, luna, something like that

Lozza, thanks for reminding me, Pebbles and Bam Bam is on my list for potential foster cats names.

I suggest Griswald or Griselda depending on whether it's a boy or girl.
