Whether Lycra or cotton,
You've somehow forgotten,
To gently lift and never tear,
The lovely knickers that you wear.
To keep them in good working condition,
You don't have to be a magician,
You just need to take a minute,
Take a breath and then begin it,
Sit quietly on a bed or seat,
And slowly, calmly, insert your feet,
Don't rush, or pull or twist or shove,
Just treat your delicates with love.
Up, up and over your knees,
(which are nicer than the bees)
And don't rush now, it's not a race,
Especially if they're made of lace
So to save your precious underwear,
Take your time and handle with care,
And read this thread, and heed the warnings,
But enjoy putting them on in the mornings!
