Seriously, is there ^anyone^ on MN who does not want Labour to win on June 8?

Come out, come out wherever you are!
I know it will mean you will be attacked and preached at, you will be told you are rich, uncaring and hate everyone except yourself, but will anyone stand with me and admit to planning on voting Conservative on June 8?
I can't be the only one surely? I didn't vote the Conservatives in by myself in 2015!

Tory all the way here - let's party like it's 1983! Grin

BadTasteFlump · 06/05/2017 20:14

I like Teresa May - she's the only one I trust to get us through Brexit. I've not always been a Conservative supporter but she's swung it for me.

Ethylred · 06/05/2017 20:16

Standing up to the European bullies? "I will be a bloody difficult woman" isn't standing up, it's infantilism.

BadTasteFlump · 06/05/2017 20:16

Bring back Nick Clegg of Paddy Ashdown. Both very genuine blokes

Grin - assuming you're being sarcastic...

toobreathless · 06/05/2017 20:16

Can't stand Corbyn.

Plus live in a area where traditionally the only partner to seriously challenge the Conservatives are UKIP although thankfully they just lost all their seats in the recent election.

So it will probably be conservative if not Lib dem, it would then probably be Green. I can't stand labour.

HelenaDove · 06/05/2017 20:17

Why are the workers in the places Theresa May has been visiting not allowed to ask her any questions?

reuset · 06/05/2017 20:17

I chuckled at the idea of Paddy Ashdown being described as a genuine bloke Grin

flippinada · 06/05/2017 20:18

Oh Helena sorry to hear that - I didn't realise it had got so nasty, I just dipped in and out to read. Glad it hasn't put you off posting.

BadTasteFlump · 06/05/2017 20:19

Genuine bloke just means a human with a penis so I suppose it's fair enough...

HelenaDove · 06/05/2017 20:19

No worries flip Thanks

HelenaDove · 06/05/2017 20:20

I never wanted Brexit either. Im a Remainer.

MrsSummerisle · 06/05/2017 20:20

For the first time that I can remember, I got a jolt of real fear the other day about the (hopefully remote) possibility of Labour winning:

In a Labour Government, Diane Abbott would be in charge of MI5.

Diane Abbott. MI5.

Oh hell no!

acornsandnuts · 06/05/2017 20:21

It's shocking that conservative have such weak opposition. JC is flushing Labour down the toilet but is just too far up his own left arse to step down and fine then a chance. He will go down in history as the leader who totally fucked up labour. So no I won't be voting labour this time.

HelenaDove · 06/05/2017 20:22

There is a possibility that Diane Abbot may not be very well. It was DHs first reaction to what happened earlier this week.

YokoReturns · 06/05/2017 20:22

'The Tories cater for our needs'.

Tory voters vote Tory because they care only about themselves and what's in it for them.

I'm voting Lib Dem, because I want a clear conscience when Brexit goes tits up, and Labour are useless under Corbyn.

WankersHacksandThieves · 06/05/2017 20:22

I've voted Labour all my life but I won't be doing this time.

I need to vote in any way that votes against the SNP. That looks like it may be tory but I am honestly not fussed as long as it isn't SNP or Green.

Plus, Corbyn is a arsehole.

WankersHacksandThieves · 06/05/2017 20:23

Diane Abbott is muppet and a liability.

ImperialBlether · 06/05/2017 20:23

She's always been like that, though, Helena.

bertsdinner · 06/05/2017 20:23

Im voting conservative, I'm in a marginal seat currently held by Labour, I think we could go back to the Tories here.

Hefzi · 06/05/2017 20:24

I voted Leave. There's no other party to vote for, and this election is all about that.

I see a lot of vitriol against Tories on MN. I don't see the same against Labour /LibDems. Mainly, though, I do first what I'm about to do now - hide that type of thread Grin My blood pressure isn't what it was...Wink

ToneDeafHamster · 06/05/2017 20:25

Conservative without a shadow of a doubt.

Andrewofgg · 06/05/2017 20:26

Corbyn is, well, he is what he is. As for the LDs: if you ever own a brewery and you don't want a piss-up running in it, they're your people.

I want Brexit run competently, I live in a three-way marginal, and I only see one choice, and I don't like it.

WankersHacksandThieves · 06/05/2017 20:27

How can Corbyn put Abbott in a position of power when she thinks that Chairman Mao did more good than harm?

That says it all for me.

Chewbecca · 06/05/2017 20:29

All I see on MN and FB is anti Tory stuff but in real life it seems to be Tory everywhere, I am confused about this too.

I would like to vote Lib Dem because I would like Brexit to be as soft as possible, I would like income tax to be raised to support the NHS and social care and hopefully school funding too. The lib dems seem to match that viewpoint best of all but I have no hope whatsoever of a non Tory MP being elected in my constituency, in fact I have been unable to even find out who my local Lib Dem candidate is to the point that I am not even sure there is one.

Blinkingblimey · 06/05/2017 20:29

Lib dem or green for me. Coalition of chaos will prob wreak less havoc than TM, BJ et al....
