Come out, come out wherever you are!
I know it will mean you will be attacked and preached at, you will be told you are rich, uncaring and hate everyone except yourself, but will anyone stand with me and admit to planning on voting Conservative on June 8?
I can't be the only one surely? I didn't vote the Conservatives in by myself in 2015!

Yawn.
I imagine 10's of thousands of MNetters will be voting Conservative; so what are you going to do about it op?
We live in a free country, we can vote for whoever we like, that's what democracy about and you being scornful won't make the slightest bit of difference.
Tough.

cathf · 06/05/2017 20:01

Eh PinkPoppy? Not sure I get your point?

Livelovebehappy · 06/05/2017 20:02

I'm with you OP. Absolutely no way would I vote for Corbyn - he is totally out of his depth, and I would be terrified if the UK had him as prime minister. The man is clueless.

flippinada · 06/05/2017 20:02

Helena oh yes, I remember that one, all left wingers are kitten bashing foul - mouthed yobs that represent everything wrong with the country, meanwhile all right wing voters spend their time rescuing big-eyed puppies, never raise their voices and have perfect manners.

That about right? Grin

The more mundane reality being that there's good and bad on both sides.

I'll be voting Labour, but despite JC, not because of him. And I expect there will be a Tory landslide on June 8th.

MyCalmX · 06/05/2017 20:03

Can we stop referring to posters as 'she' automatically. As I think this one is more keith than cath and it really pisses me off men who use MN with a deliberate female nn.

Decsbetterhalf · 06/05/2017 20:03

Hell yes! I will have to move countries if labour gets in

MaisyPops · 06/05/2017 20:04

I think from what I've seen on here there's a mix. Mumsnet isn't some lefty hub.

gamerwidow · 06/05/2017 20:04

It's funny how your political perspective skews your views on things. I would gave said MN was very conservative leaning at the moment and have seen a lot of left bashing (probably due to my own bias). I will be proudly voting for Labour but I wouldn't want users voting for other parties to be intimidated out of expressing their different political views. I won't stand with you on this point but I will stand for your right to vote for whoever you like without fear of attack.

cathf · 06/05/2017 20:04

Why on earth do you think that MyCalmX?????

RyanStartedTheFire · 06/05/2017 20:04

I'm not voting labour, but I don't want to vote Tory either. I don't know who the fuck to vote for.

RainbowsAndUnicorn · 06/05/2017 20:04

Not a chance I will vote for Labour. The Tories are the best fit for me.

I don't think MN all vote Labour but the vitriol aimed at Tory voters stops people having free debate or views.

Decsbetterhalf · 06/05/2017 20:04

And I am voting con

ilovesooty · 06/05/2017 20:05

I couldn't care less whether the OP is male or female. My opinion of her posts remains the same.

HelenaDove · 06/05/2017 20:06

YY flipinada The one where i received an abusive PM from a would be Tory voter posting as a 17 year old girl. As well as a load of goady abuse on the thread itself.

But hey.........its the ones on the left who are nasty.

cathf · 06/05/2017 20:06

Rainbows, I've just been accused on being a man. Does that count as vitriol? ;-D

Mummyoflittledragon · 06/05/2017 20:09

Why the fuck would I want labour to win? I voted remain. I want the lib dems to win. I find your post incredibly offensive. Corbyn is truly ghastly. Even worse than TM and that is saying something.

HelenaDove · 06/05/2017 20:10

Mummy im considering voting Lib Dem.

BadTasteFlump · 06/05/2017 20:10

Well I don't want Labour to win - but I'm not exactly losing sleep over it because it's just not happening.

I could never vote for a party who put somebody like JC in charge. It makes me think they don't want to win...

Jazzywazzydodah · 06/05/2017 20:10

I won't be voting labour this year but I won't be voting for the cons either.

I'm considered 'well off' dc in private school but what the tories are doing is fucking awful! I said to dh this morning that I'd be shitting myself now if we didn't have our money as we'd be fucked if we got ill or god forbid one of our kids.

I think they may win the GE as masses of voters are leaning that way because cons are leaving the EU just like they said they would and not wailing about it like labour are. I voted leave and resent that I was called bigot, racist anti immigration etc.. when in fact non of those effect me as we live very rural and go to a rural private school. I think labour shot its self in the foot with how that fall out was handled and lost so many voters.

But I digress. Sorry Wine

juneau · 06/05/2017 20:10

I won't be voting Labour. Corbyn is a disgrace and hell would freeze over before I vote for him. Plus, Labour is pro-Brexit and I am vehemently anti-Brexit. Therefore, I will be voting Lib Dem.

BuzzKillington · 06/05/2017 20:11

I'll be voting conservative.

I don't know anyone that will vote labour.

Ilikecheeriosyum · 06/05/2017 20:11

Go lib dem!

There's no need to take care of business and say screw the people
And there's no need to say tax the people who work hard for their money to heck because they earn so much when you've got companies like IKEA getting away with it.

I'm going for a happy medium.

reuset · 06/05/2017 20:12

Nobody with a social conscience will be voting for the Conservative Party, surely. Wink Might have to be Lib Dem for me, though, bit of tactical voting in my area.
Though voting Conservative would benefit me most, but not a chance of that happening!

Ellybellyboo · 06/05/2017 20:12

I'm not voting Labour. I wouldn't trust Corbyn to feed my cats while I went on holiday, let alone run a country.

I'm not voting Conservative either

Mummyoflittledragon · 06/05/2017 20:13

Helena. Just a shame about who is at the helm with lib dems as well. Bring back Nick Clegg of Paddy Ashdown. Both very genuine blokes.
