If this is a Bartholin's Cyst you need to wait till it has grown and is ready to discharge. These form along blocked lubricating ducts usually at the entrance to your lady parts. Very painful and can grow to the size of an egg! When they are fully ripe they burst and you can squeeze the surplus gunk out. I had one which made me feel very ill and I had difficulty walking. I was admitted to hospital but (thankfully) it burst before I had the operation to remove it. Overshare? Probably.

And OP has passed out with the goriness of it all.

I've done exactly this. But agree a hot flannel is worth it too.

I had a few of these cysts last year. I thought it was an in grown hair, so I popped the first one myself, I almost fainted with the pain.
When it came back a few weeks later I put a really hot flannel on it, the popped when still warm, excruciating pain again.
Then I got a second one a month later, l had learnt my lesson, I just put a flannel in it, the next day it popped itself, lots of pus.. and pain free..miss getting them in a strange way!

Tissue that was so inefficient. I could have cleared that forehead out so much quicker...
