I stood in the entrance of M&S for 5 minutes this morning just trying to imagine anyone who this would suit.
It's polyester as well so you couldn't even say it would be good in a heatwave.

Went into M&S today and was greeted at the front door by the monstrosity in the opening post. 99 per cent of stuff seemed to have weird fluted or bell shaped sleeves or was in lurid colours or made of horrible nylon material. Came out with a nice pink gypsy style top but there was very limited "normal" stuff. Let's hope the new head honcho sorts out the mess!

It haunted me after I clicked on the original post.

I read that Standard article the other night and thought, oh I will have to look at that (not afraid of a bit of colour, like Cos style shapelessness). Next morning I nearly caused a multiple pile up of commuters at Waterloo when I stopped dead to stare at it in M&S' window. It is SO pink in real life. So shapeless. So plain - at the front the only detail was the perfectly normal stitching on the hem, you know that the slightest wonkiness would show. And so distinctive - everyone would know it was THAT dress.
