Fragrant Diane, she really is the kiss of death.
My toes are still curling

"Focus on the enemy. Together we are legion"

You know you need to grow up but if your happy with stupid slogans ...meh.

Kentia · 03/05/2017 16:18

Neo fashism, neowannabesocialism, tension between nation states within and outside of the EU. Price hikes as we Brexit, import and supply chain issues, everyone is a bit (or a lot) poorer.

Could I ask a totally left field question?

How do people reckon these changes will impact on fashion? Music? Pop culture?

Bringmesunshite · 03/05/2017 16:19

your... you're ... obviously I should listen to the teachers!

Tapandgo · 03/05/2017 16:20

Listening to the teachers means not voting Tory who are pouring our money into Free Schools and planning to pour more into creating more grammar schools. I have mixed views on grammar school, but thevrespuces need to go to where the funding is needed now - state comprehensives. The Eton Party just don't care about them.

Headofthehive55 · 03/05/2017 16:24

I am horrified by DA comments regarding nurses.

Batgirlspants · 03/05/2017 16:27

So Tap how are the Tories to be defeated then?

TheBogQueen · 03/05/2017 16:32

It's not about solidarity or holding the line or education - it's the economy, stupid.

areyoubeingserviced · 03/05/2017 16:35

Diane Abbot's worst 'crime' was making the odious Nick Ferrari appear clever and well informed.

Batgirlspants · 03/05/2017 16:38

serviced utterly ridiculous he needed to do absolutlry, nothing she disgraced herself all by herself.

user1493759849 · 03/05/2017 16:38

I can't stand Diane. Loathe the woman for so many different reasons, which I won't post on here. She makes my skin crawl. She made a total fool of herself on that interview. One more reason to not vote for Labour.

Batgirlspants · 03/05/2017 16:40

And agree he's vile but he didn't appear clever just able to do GCSE maths. Shock

Dianne sounded out of her depth and quite frankly thick and stupid sorry.

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 03/05/2017 16:42

She didn't do much better on Daily Politics, Serviced.

Was it Jo Coburn's fault there?

areyoubeingserviced · 03/05/2017 16:43

That's the point Bag,. In simple language, she was so bad, she made NF
look good.

Batgirlspants · 03/05/2017 16:45

If clever to you is knowing that you can't recruit, train and pay 10 000 police officers on £300 000 you set your bar for a minister very low

Batgirlspants · 03/05/2017 16:46

Ok areyou see your point.

makeourfuture · 03/05/2017 16:47

The Eton Party just don't care about them.

Yes.

Who here can morally stand with the Tories?

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 03/05/2017 16:47

Focus on the enemy. Together we are legion!

Soundbites ahoy. They mean nothing.

quencher · 03/05/2017 16:48

why do you mention that she is black? Seriously no one on here cares. Yah right! Half the thread is about race, her view on schooling and the way she speaks.
I did mention she is black because it's an argument for understanding her comment about Caribbean mothers.
The very same reason she also sent her son to Ghana to try and give him an understanding of what it's is to be black outside of the Uk. To give him a different experience. I get that too. DA says it herself.

What i said does not excuse her performance yesterday or how capable or incapable she is. It's an explanation. I don't really care if you agree or not.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 03/05/2017 16:49

Who here can morally stand with the Tories?

I don't.

Nor do I 'morally' stand by Corbyn and his 'friends'. You may be wiling to brush things under the carpet. I'm not.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 03/05/2017 16:51

Listening to the teachers means not voting Tory

Hate to break it to you, but you do realise that many teachers vote Tory don't you?

areyoubeingserviced · 03/05/2017 16:53

Read your previous post quencher and I agree with you.

Tapandgo · 03/05/2017 16:58

Bat - the Tories will be defeated by a Labour Party that reattracts its voters who have defected to the right - wether Tory or UKIP. Scotland have turned their backs on Labour ( but NOT gone to the Tories). They need to get shot of Corbyn.

I'm a former member of the Labour Party who resigned in disgust. However, I do not want my country tied up to a Tory government any longer, I wholeheartedly disagree with their policies, dislike their personnel and see their complete agenda a 'rich first'.

I will still vote Labour - there is no alternative in England for me. I am wealthy - but I am principled and want a country where their is good opportunities for all regardless of their background, wealth or the area they live in. The Tories have never aspired to achieve this and consequently have no intention of delivering it.

RoseGoldProsecco · 03/05/2017 16:59

Make - you're actually making me want to vote Tory!!

Tapandgo · 03/05/2017 17:00

piglet - of course I do. The Tories attract all sorts including so called 'champion of the NHS, Jimmy Saville

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 03/05/2017 17:02

So do Labour Tapandgo If you are going to go down that line....
