To think it's rude to asking how much it costs?

I've had cosmetic surgery and it's something very noticeable. I'm very open with it but I'm sick of the first question being - how much did it cost??

I would love to know what you had done. I'm about to plan on getting cosmetic surgery and that is normally one of the first questions when talking about it.

Sorry if I gave the wrong impression. I'm not going through the thread to message each person ... I have better things to do with my time (no offence).

However the people that have messaged me themselves I have of course responded to.

I will not be discussing costs at all.

Sorry but it's stuff like this that I think why the hell should I tell anyone. I hope the people I've told don't just randomly start messaging people with this.

I'm agog. What on earth can you have cosmetically altered that is visible to everyone and that is very unusual to have done? I can't even think what it might be, but I am unimaginative and inexperienced in such things.

Anyway, they're probably asking how much it was because it's so unusual they can't even have a ballpark guess about how much someone would pay for such a thing. Also, it could be all they can think of to say if they're a bit freaked out by something different ie they don't like it, but it's impossible to pretend they haven't noticed and not say anything? Is it quite shocking?
