However I do think its going to be exciting this election is very much up for grabs. I wont be at all surprised if the conservatives dont actually win.

I'm not entirely convinced by the polls either - I think it could go any which way tbh.

Either way, it's going to be an exciting night and I'm expecting a few seats going from/to all persuasions.

AppearingNormal · 29/04/2017 15:17

Also not convinced by the polls. Though I expect plenty of mc labour turning to the lib dems in a brexit strop while a significant wc Northerner labour vote turns to Tories simply on assurance of leaving the EU and a halt in unmanaged immigration.

Brexit strop Hmm

Lovely.

Oneiroi · 29/04/2017 20:21

Yes, 'lovely'. That's exactly what Brexit is. The UK having a childish strop. And like any toddler that does so, it's unlikely to get what it wants out of it.

DalekBred · 29/04/2017 20:23

OOh, I tripped over an uneven paving slab today.

Can I blame it on Brexit?

and OP BTW, look at your thread title, 3 years? weve been in the EU since theearly 70's. so nothing happened before 3 years ago then? Hmm

Blowingthroughthejasmineinmymi · 29/04/2017 20:27

I got a paper cut today and cursed brexit.

BoneyBackJefferson · 29/04/2017 21:13

That's exactly what Brexit is. The UK having a childish strop.

And still people haven't learnt that belittling peoples views and opinions is what got us in to this mess.

Oneiroi · 29/04/2017 21:25

I think we're done with trying to persuade people to see sense.

Good luck to the Brexiteers

BoneyBackJefferson · 29/04/2017 22:09

Oneiroi

Most remainers have never tried.

woodhill · 29/04/2017 22:12

Don't blame it on the sunshine
Don't blame it on the moonlight
Don't blame it on the good times
blame it on the Brexit

oneiroi you misunderstood my "Brexit strop" comment. It was in response to AppearingNormal saying that middle class Labour voters would be turning to the Lib Dems this election in a Brexit strop.

I don't see how trying to mitigate the disaster that is Brexit is a strop....

I am a proud saboteur, remoaner, snowflake (insert any other stupid epithet the gutter press has used to describe us), and will be voting Lib Dem.

How far are we lagging behind the EU members for gdp growth? I bet Greece have a massive growth figure being in the EU? Shows how blinkered some people are there is a whole world outside the EU cant believe the close mindedness of the remainers.

PuckeredAhole · 30/04/2017 08:55

It's not racist to want to leave the EU!!! For frigs sake. Shut up you one dimensional remainers!!
