To want to confess?

AIBU to want a secret confessions thread?

I'll start.

I am stupidly in luuuuuuuurrrvvvvvveeee with a man from work almost 10 years younger than me. He's so lovely, and funny and clever and handsome and I just want to lick him. We get on so well. He'd probably die of shame if he realised and on occasion I feel like I'm old enough to be his mum even though clearly I'm not lol.

But gahhhh, I get the fanny gallops....

NOONE CAN KNOW! I can do nothing about this. No telling on me!

Spill your secrets people!

My dh can't wait to loose the weight so that he can fit back into his very expensive designer cashmere jumper- the one which accidentally went in the tumble dryer and unless he's planning on having the build of a 6 year old child, he'll never fit into it again 😏.

Jakeyboy1 · 12/04/2017 22:44

@DoubleNegativePanda ahh that's so sweet surely you can find him online??? I'm intrigued you just have tried???

Patriciathestripper1 · 12/04/2017 22:46

My Dh is asleep next to me on the settee and I've eaten a whole packet of the sour cream biscuits to myself and had half a bottle of red Blush

TeenageCentaurMortificado · 12/04/2017 22:47

patricia get another glass... have the other half of red and leave both glasses out and say he drank it 'don't you remember dear?' Also stuff empty biscuit packet near his person!

Is there any subtle flirting at all? I literally used to go weak at the knees when he smiled at me. When we got together, he told me I gave him ABS whenever he saw me. Didn't understand until he explained - def the male version of fanny gallops! GrinGrin

MrsChopper · 12/04/2017 22:52

Mine is so lame. Went to get a chinese takeaway recently. The lady taking my order was a bit dim and got really mixed up. She gave me far too much change. I realised straight away and felt a bit smug. But I didn't say anything as the time before that they charged full price but I didn't get everything we had ordered. hope she didn't get wrong

Daisydots · 12/04/2017 22:59

My favourite is breaking things by accident then acting surprised when a family member notices

also last night we went to a pub quiz and I think someone marked our answers wrong, we won (and it didn't add up) .. and we didn't say anything. Prize was only a round of drinks though!

TeenageCentaurMortificado · 12/04/2017 23:02

I don't know, I could read into a lot of things really BUT he's so nice to everyone ...
He does messages me really random stuff. Both during the working day and out of hours.
There's innuendo (usually me to be fair lol), but he doesn't start it. I think he's a little shy so starting it wouldn't be his thing if that makes sense.
He's told me some personal things which made me all 'awww'
God look what I've done😂 I was fessing up a secret crush and I've made it a thing. I'll feel very self conscious tomorrow now Blush

Panda if he has a chinese name (or evenif he hasnt tbh) then it may be worth getting it translated into mandarin in order to find him especially if he ended up working in China which he may well have done.

Easilyflattered · 12/04/2017 23:05

My DH has no idea why my last job made me so miserable, and why I resigned. It was because of a massive crush on a work colleague, who also seemed to be interested in me. I didn't want to ruin my marriage, so did nothing to encourage things. But the feeling of being desirable was addictive and eventually i couldn't bear to be around him anymore. Months later and I find out he has a new girlfriend and I feel sick to the stomach.

I never really had any chemistry or spark with DH. He's a very decent man and a good husband and brilliant dad. I think I married him too young because I didn't think I was particularly attractive and so unlikely to meet anyone else.

OP that made me laugh - great guess tho! No, ABS meant Aching Bollock Syndrome apparently! Grin Grin Grin ! Got to be the male equivalent of fanny gallops surely?! You could be having the same effect for all you know????!!!!

RJnomore1 · 12/04/2017 23:18

I've been writing an essay for uni for weeks to get peace and I have 0 word count. This is not good as it's due Tuesday.

Dh thinks I enjoyed watching the thre hours of idris Elba kick boxer because we do thai boxing.

I often eat family size bags of crisps and hide the evidence behind the couch.

Forgive me father for I have sinned.

TeenageCentaurMortificado · 12/04/2017 23:23

Oh god, I might end up eyeballing his nethers for evidence! Grin

I've been married to a man with no sex drive.

For most of the 18 years we've been together, I obsessed over an old boyfriend whom I never got over.

That only stopped when I got into a non sexual relationship with a male friend.

So, I'm not having sex with anyone but my male friend does, at least, remind me that I'm still alive.

I would never leave my husband, I love him dearly. But I do miss sex.

expatinscotland · 12/04/2017 23:25

'I totally fancy the pants off Gaston in the new Beauty and the Beast film...I can't be the only though, can I?'

No, you are not. He's FAR more manly than Beast after Beast transformed.

Pawsbutton · 12/04/2017 23:25

Should say I am married Freudian slip

Nc12309456 · 12/04/2017 23:30

I think about my ex every day, we split up 11 years ago. I have been with DP for 10 years, even though he cheated on me, I will never love another man the way I loved my ex. ( helps that he was also the best shag Grin)

ladygracie · 12/04/2017 23:35

I have been messaging my friend's ex boyfriend. All started v innocent but now not so much. Nothing will ever happen but it makes for some very lovely daydreams.

TeenageCentaurMortificado · 12/04/2017 23:35

Oh but a sexless marriage paw
Do you/he know why? Is it medical? Do you discuss it? Flowers

I do hope this thread runs... suspect confessions may get juicier with the advent of a bank holiday weekend and consumption of alcohol 😂

The hamster didn't eat the Easter egg it was me! The hamster died 2 years ago

Kaybush · 12/04/2017 23:43

OP, I was in exactly the same situation as you 22 years ago and, well, I married him!

At the time I was in a long term relationship with a guy that I was telling everyone I was going to marry, and it took two months of my now DH asking me out on an almost daily basis for me to seriously consider it.

He is 9 years younger than me, we now have two children and I've never had a single regret.

I would say that, unless you are married already, just go with your heart - it sounds wonderful - good luck!!

Dannythechampion · 12/04/2017 23:48

When I was 18 and had finished my last A level, I went for a drink with my Dad in his local.

I met one of his friends and we got on like a house on fire, he was 32, we shagged like rabbits for the summer, he was so much better in bed than the two boys I'd slept with at that point. My Dad never found out and always said how nice it was that we two got along so well when we all met up together regularly over that time.
