This came up on my Facebook page and I was a bit flabbergasted by the thought of gluing hair accessories to the head of a baby

They look ridiculous!

Crunchymum · 11/04/2017 18:15

They do earrings too Shock

NabobsFromNobHill · 11/04/2017 18:16

But how will people know that you have the superior girl version of the baby product if you don't stick a bow on it?

PastysPrincess · 11/04/2017 18:17

FFS rediculous and surely a choking hazard??

MrsTerryPratchett · 11/04/2017 18:17

YABU. It is so important that girls are put in the 'girl' box early so that they know their place, that gluing things to their heads is absolutely required.

LionSock · 11/04/2017 18:18

What have I just seen? Sure no one in their right mind would do this?!

EccentricPickle · 11/04/2017 18:18

Lol at the earrings! You've been able to buy stick on earrings for donkeys - they're probably just as much of a choking hazard as these!

dementedpixie · 11/04/2017 18:20

Funny quote in the Mirror newspaper There are people who are confused when they see a girl or boy because there are babies that are very ugly and with a nice bow it changes everything

YANBU. That is god awful. I feel irrationally pissed off about the awful sexism of it too. And yes, surely a choking hazard.

OhtoblazeswithElvira · 11/04/2017 18:23

Hahaha it's awful Grin I thought those newborn-with-a-headband-on pictures couldn't get any worse but I was wrong.

Fair play to the creators for spotting a gap in the market! Clearly some people out there were clamouring for this life-changing product Grin

PinkHeart59156816 · 11/04/2017 18:23

No hair necessary 😂

What the hell is nice about gluing a bow with algrave nectar glue to a bald baby girls head?

SquedgieBeckenheim · 11/04/2017 18:24

I would never use that for either of my DD's! Although I'm clearly not their target audience as I don't put headbands on them and buy some of their clothes from the boys section...

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 11/04/2017 18:25

If you want to ensure that no-one mistakes your Lil Man for a girl baby

Aibu to think babies don't need girlie glue?
DioneTheDiabolist · 11/04/2017 18:28

YANBU OP, super glue works better and can be used to glue other stuff as well.

ErrolTheDragon · 11/04/2017 18:30

Good Grief.Confused

NewPapaGuinea · 11/04/2017 18:31

Equally as chavvy as those monstrous bows some babies are put in. Whyyyy????

CherriesInTheSnow · 11/04/2017 18:33

That tag line -

"It's never too early to be girlie" Shock

I guess you would label me as "girlie" and I still find that just, Confused

Foldedtshirt · 11/04/2017 18:33

It's never too early to be Girlie!

Head. Desk.

Megatherium · 11/04/2017 18:41

Those things on their heads look like horrible growths.

AliceKlar · 11/04/2017 18:43

Good grief! Beyond weird and ridiculous and don't get me started about the whole 'girlie' thing!

blackteasplease · 11/04/2017 18:44

Why the hell would you glue anything to your baby!

Why does it matter if strangers know if you have a boy or a girl? If you care that much you could, you know, tell them.

minipie · 11/04/2017 18:44

My word.

I'm not sure if this is worse or better than Baby Bangs - yes, stick on
hair, for if your baby girl is a bit slow in growing her princess tresses.

minipie · 11/04/2017 18:45

Oh and does this remind anyone else of the MNer who Immac'd her baby's head by mistake?

offblackeggshell · 11/04/2017 18:46

😂

MoonfaceAndSilky · 11/04/2017 18:47

Just what a baby needs stuck to it's head!
