This came up on my Facebook page and I was a bit flabbergasted by the thought of gluing hair accessories to the head of a baby

DS1 (16) gets mistaken for a girl sometimes (or actually a woman). He has long, wavy hair but is definitely built like a young man and has stubble and an Adam's apple and all the giveaway signs of his sex. His step mum told me that they've been out for lunch and the staff have greeted them as 'ladies' more than once.

toffee1000 · 12/04/2017 02:51

This just reminds me of Ross and Rachel sticking a giant pink bow onto Emma's head to prove to Rachel's work that she was a girl... and yet she still got mistaken for a boy GrinGrin
But honestly, they're hideous. Bald babies look daft with headbands on. I was bald until about 14/15 months. Thank god my mother didn't stick a headband on me.

Littlelegs19 · 12/04/2017 03:01

Oh my! Confused

Greystars · 12/04/2017 03:07

This is absurd :)

I also never knew donkeys could be so glamorous :)

MangosteenSoda · 12/04/2017 04:02

I saw this product on the counter of a local shop some time ago. It left me a bit slack jawed. I'm happy to report that the full box is still there, so it looks like there's been no takers.

Keepthebloodynoisedown · 12/04/2017 04:28

Well I didn't know that 'Our first model is the Diva, which is an all-black high heel infant crib shoe that’s essential to any baby wardrobe'.
Both products are gross, but baby heels, really Angry.
And how the fuck did it take her two years of brainstorming to come up with this crap.

fuffapster · 12/04/2017 04:33

I just hope that there's glitter in it, otherwise what's the point?

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 12/04/2017 06:51

Prices on the website are in $$ - do we have America to 'thank' for this?

If so, as someone once put it, 'Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public.'

ErrolTheDragon · 12/04/2017 07:18

I reckon in the UK there could be a market for earrings for donkeys though. And how about more decorative versions of cattle ear tags?

WeirdAndPissedOff · 12/04/2017 07:38

Errol - absolutely, you wouldn't want people mistaking your girlie cows for bulls, would you?

Applebite · 12/04/2017 07:57

I'm pretty sure the high heels one was a joke - i really hope that it was!!

Applebite · 12/04/2017 07:59

I mean, it came out 1 April. Or is it actually hideously true?!

It's just the whole idea that a girls worth is based on their looks which is being forced on these babies from the day dot which makes me so made. Angry

Jupitertomars · 12/04/2017 22:18

Totally absurd that these products sell.

Although my friend bought my daughter this outfit when she was a baby, I was a bit creeped out by it and didn't find it cute/funny at all.
