To get 2 pillows and 4 cans of cider out of the caravan on the drive. He thinks this is normal.

AIBU to think it's not?

I'm suffering this as we speak with DM AKA Lady Faffington. In our way to pick up DB from train station. He arrives in an hour. Station is half an hour away. But she wants to go to Asda first which takes at least an hour.

Hope DB has battery on his phone to amuse himself.Grin

threesocksmeghan · 11/04/2017 15:08

Omg she's hoovering!! We should have left 10 mins ago!Grin

Gileswithachainsaw · 11/04/2017 15:10

What did she say when you told her the time the train is due in?

threesocksmeghan · 11/04/2017 15:13

I told her last night and this morning. I'll mention it when she finally joins me in the car (in 78 years) but she'll just shrug Grin

Gileswithachainsaw · 11/04/2017 15:15

I'd struggle so badly to watch....Grin

LilaoftheGreenwood · 11/04/2017 15:36

LIVE FAFFING! Grin

ForTheSakeOfFuck · 11/04/2017 15:37

I am tuning in for the minute-by-minute procrastifuckaboutery drama.

threesocksmeghan · 11/04/2017 15:42

Currently stuck in horrendous traffic. Obviously that's the reason we're late and nothing to do with faffing ... she's now considering stopping for petrol...

LilaoftheGreenwood · 11/04/2017 15:43

I am guessing threesocksmeghan is now driving and will give her next update hiding behind the fresh bread stand in Asda.

LilaoftheGreenwood · 11/04/2017 15:43

Oop x-post

threesocksmeghan · 11/04/2017 15:51

Suggested we skip asda and instead pop into aldi after picking up DB. She agreed. But somehow we're still in asda...

threesocksmeghan · 11/04/2017 15:56

She can't remember which flavour food the cat likes best... Might be here a while!

ForTheSakeOfFuck · 11/04/2017 16:01

This is somewhere between excruciating and hilarious.

This is somewhere between excruciating and hilarious

I have to admit though if itbwas the brother is be really pissed off st the fact that I could have got a bus or taxi and been home by now and instead I'm having to wait for people who offered to pick me up then left me hanging around...

Yet it's so amusing also...

threesocksmeghan · 11/04/2017 16:05

3 mins til train arrives. Just queuing up...

threesocksmeghan · 11/04/2017 16:10

Yep. Must stop and read all the headlines of the newspapers as we wander past...

Stormtreader · 11/04/2017 16:13

This is gold, I'm captivated!

threesocksmeghan · 11/04/2017 16:19

Hahahaha Polly!!!

DM: just popping in for petrol.
Me: You have 1/4 tank still.
DM: I know... but while I'm here...

Train was in 11 mins ago. DB knows better than to chase us up... Grin

TheStoatIsStoatallyDifferent · 11/04/2017 16:19

Loving the live faff updates!

Stormtreader · 11/04/2017 16:23

Out of interest, how would your DM react if by the time you eventually got to the station DB just...wasnt there? Had gotten a taxi?

I always suspect that faffers dont really believe that other people are real people and would be shocked to be told "youre too late, Ive made other plans".

threesocksmeghan · 11/04/2017 16:35

Just picked him up. Over 20 mins late. Now on our way to Aldi. I'm not sure why as we've bought everything in asda already??

DB and I are so used to this it doesn't bother him. 20 mins late is quite good going tbh. I on the other hand get the rage so refuse to accept lifts anywhere, for any reason. It's quicker to walk than stand around!!

Tangfastics · 11/04/2017 16:43

Some of the imagery on this thread really is quite excellent Grin

threesocksmeghan · 11/04/2017 17:25

Just got in. Nearly 2.5 hours after we left. Spent nearly as much in aldi as we did in asda and I've no idea what we've actually bought Hmm

LilaoftheGreenwood · 11/04/2017 17:29

I should start chivvying her towards dinner if I were you!
