My DP works next to parliament. They're not allowed to leave Sad

Bestthingever · 22/03/2017 16:10

Mollyminnie just keep in touch with whoever is with your dcs. I do understand your stress. I was an hour late picking up my dd last night because of an accident on the motorway. When I eventually got there my friend was annoyed at me for panicking about it. People do understand.

UnbornMortificado · 22/03/2017 16:11

Christ I hope everyone's ok, BBC news has mentioned children caught up on the bridge attack.

Hope anyone here either in the area or with loved once in the area is ok.

Sky News reporting now that a doctor at St Thomas's has said one woman has died and some others have 'catastrophic' injuries. Sad

Butterymuffin · 22/03/2017 16:12

Not official statement yet, but it seems credible. Sad

UnbornMortificado · 22/03/2017 16:12

BBC news says the same.

What the fuck is wrong with some people?

DickToPhone · 22/03/2017 16:12

1 year anniversary of Brussels attack.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 22/03/2017 16:12

Oh no, it's so awful Sad

mollyminniemo · 22/03/2017 16:13

millie thanks

EffinElle · 22/03/2017 16:15

One woman run over on the bridge has died Sad

BagelGoesWalking · 22/03/2017 16:19

Fucking Sky News keep showing pics of injured people - even when Met Police have asked everyone not to.

DickToPhone · 22/03/2017 16:20

Looks to have been a rental car. Not a very strong/heavy vehicle (1.5tonnes). Not sure if they had used something more suitable it would have done any better at getting through.

Seems rather unsophisticated.

Soubriquet · 22/03/2017 16:20

This is completely heartbreaking...

skerrywind · 22/03/2017 16:21

What's going on - awful events, but seems still to be ongoing-
hostage? More terror threats?

CoolCarrie · 22/03/2017 16:22

Typical fucking Sky, what do you expect from Murdoch, fucking tosser

Helenluvsrob · 22/03/2017 16:22

Stay safe London people.

mollyminniemo · 22/03/2017 16:23

There are still multiple sirens racing past by office, constantly

CoolCarrie · 22/03/2017 16:24

Sounded to me like it was a female policewoman, but could have misheard David Davies on BBC

mollyminniemo · 22/03/2017 16:24

Not going away from scene ie. ambulance to hospital either (as nearest hospital -St Thomas - is other direction from us) but to the scene, something must still be happening

Doyouwantabrew · 22/03/2017 16:26

My dh under lockdown too.

I am shocked that sky news are showing photos of easily identifiable dead bodies or actually I am not from past personal experience.

Thoughts and prayers to the injured and dead.

PortiaCastis · 22/03/2017 16:27

FFS bleddy media transmitting footage of a person being put into an ambulance. The bastards are gutter feeders

PlayOnWurtz · 22/03/2017 16:27

Seems from the BBC reports the response to how the police have been handling this is overwhelmingly positive which is one positive to take from this horrific incident.

Hope all those involved stay safe and all those in the emergency services now having to extend their shifts look after themselves and stay safe.

Doyouwantabrew · 22/03/2017 16:27

X post Bagel no shame have they

FlappinSwazy · 22/03/2017 16:28

Molly They are going to Major Trauma centre at St Marys / Royal Free or Chelsea and Westminster.

St Tommy's has now been placed on lockdown too supposedly.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 22/03/2017 16:29

Desperately sorry to hear about the lady who's died - let's just hope there aren't any more Sad
