Breaking on the Huff and Beeb

OP posts:
OnTheUp13 · 23/03/2017 20:32

How nasty that people are making jibes at others who want to help people who suffered life changing events.

I think it would do some people well to remember that's it's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 23/03/2017 20:33

I don't think you realise just how the Police are cared for.

Actually I do.

Doyouwantabrew · 23/03/2017 20:33

sex it will cost to repatriate the poor man and his widow may need long term medical care back home in the states! The NHS won't be paying for that will they?

Hee you posted s nasty statement dnd are now saying you are worried about hard up mums because you know you were out of order. Just apologise and back off.

originalbiglymavis · 23/03/2017 20:36

Ach, I can't be arsed to engage with the gobshites tonight. Gleefully, willfully ignorant.

HeeHighls · 23/03/2017 20:44

"If they need long term care in the states the NHS won't be paying then will it?"

Why will they be going to the USA? The poor policeman is dead. Who's going to the states?

By all means send money as it seems to help some. Please though send it a good cause not an individual, who will be far richer than you'll ever be.
But of course, do as you wish.

HelenaDove · 23/03/2017 20:49

Widowed parents allowance is being shortened to 18 months.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 23/03/2017 21:06

Errrrr the American wife of the American gentleman who her self is seriously injured!

SexTrainGlue · 23/03/2017 21:07

I hadn't seen that theyve been left high and dry. Presumably there's been a statement I've mussed explaining that they were uninsured or that the company had refused to pay out. If the former, they need the donations. If the latter then yes, they need high level intervention to see if the company will exceptionally over-ride any 'acts of terrorism' exclusion clause.

tiredvommachine · 23/03/2017 21:08

One of my colleagues was killed yesterday doing his job. None of us expect not to go home at the end of a shift.

Fuck off.

PortiaCastis · 23/03/2017 21:08

My heart goes out to the policeman's wife who will not be able to pick up a newspaper, switch on a tv or go onto twatter, facebrag etc for fear of seeing her dead husband and her children's fathers body.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 23/03/2017 21:08

Do you know what? I don't care if they are a billionaires! Their father, husband was murdered.

I'm not that petty or spiteful to begrudge them any amount of money.

Your comments are saying more about you than others.

Are you really that lacking in compassion? Seriously?

I don't really bother about how well someone's employer, union, government or immediate community will look after them in such awful circumstances, I'm more than happy to donate the price of a bag of chips, cheap bottle of wine, cinema ticket or restaurant meal that I can well do without, to show support for someone whose life has been devastated.

No one should feel bad if they can't spare any money, I don't mean that at all, but we do what we can to embrace the victims.

SarahBernhardtFan · 23/03/2017 21:17

I don't think you realise just how the Police are cared for

You have no idea who is behind these user names, you have no idea who we are related to/married to or what we know.

Stop with your nonsense now as you have no clue and as well as making yourself look nasty, also very silly.

Butterymuffin · 23/03/2017 21:41

I'll have a look myself, but if anyone knows of a link to a fundraising site for Kurt Cochran's family, please post it as I would like to donate.

aquashiv · 23/03/2017 21:47

Heart breaking. Just utterly depressing how could anyone in their right mind think this is in the name of Allah. I just don't understand the interpretation that innocent people need to die what are we guilty off? Where is this written? Is it religious or political. I'm not sure I even understand the motives of IS.

originalbiglymavis · 23/03/2017 22:00

Who is innocent, what is guilt? Who gets to choose and judge? What egotistical minds they have, to believe that they have the hotline to the almighty.

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 23/03/2017 22:01

Buttery I have only found this so far, which frankly, needs much more exposure

Tiredmumno1 · 23/03/2017 22:06

PortiaCastis · 23/03/2017 22:18

Just seen on TV the ex soldier who tried to save the policeman and he said sorry!!!!
My God man don't say sorry you didn't run away you tried to help your fellow human being and your family will be so proud of you
Now that what I want to hear and read about not someone telling me not to donate

Nicknacky · 23/03/2017 22:28

Heehigh I'm a serving police officer. Can you please explain to me how by next of kin will be in line for a £million+ payout if I die on duty?

I'm genuinely curious as I know what I pay in life insurance and what the police will pay my next of kin but I'm clearly missing something!!

RufusTheRenegadeReindeer · 23/03/2017 23:08

Goodness there are some scummy bastards on here tonight

Doyouwantabrew · 23/03/2017 23:30

For fucks sake Hee and sex hope your bile sticks in your throats tonight.

Can just see you both grinning and typing away thinking you are alternative or clever.

You are beyond bothering with and suspect you are either very immature or very stupid and probably both.
