Over the course of a couple of threads recently my attention has been brought to the site UK Punting.

Basically where 'punters' go to rate working girl's and (the married ones) laugh about their wives and swap tips on how to avoid detection.

Apparently the poor little lambs can't help themselves.

All these threads aren't a coincidence.

It's very simple, if you don't want to read this stuff then don't click on the website. It's not hard, but truth is that even if it could be brought down it wouldn't change the fact that these men, and these prostitutes exist.

And that's assuming that the majority of them are even real. I can't imagine that many men would actually take the time to go and post such vile stuff on the internet when they're probably too busy sleeping with prostitutes. My guess is that the majority of them are pure sad bastards with no life and the bravado that a keyboard and username brings.

I've no idea how anyone could have heard of it. I mean why would anyone want to go and look there? why? I don't care if this is an unpopular opinion but I would rather men like that be in one place such as that site than it be closed down. I agree that it shouldn't be shut down. It is just a symptom. Masking symptoms makes it harder to diagnose and treat the disease.

There are many women on here who do not believe feminists when we tell them just how woman-hating and misogynist some men are, and that those men murder prostituted women, and that "sex workers" do not just drop dead because radical feminists say something "whorephobic".

Nobody said that. That site how ever is a prime example of how there are men out there with these attitudes and I believe it's a good thing that such attitudes are highlighted and shamed because patronising or not there are women out there who believe there isn't a problem.

It's a shame some have such disregard for their wife/partner that they would do this instead of ending the relationship if it's not satisfying.

I suppose men see the necessity of sex different than women (I say men as a broad term, not individuals). They see it as a need that should always be met unless extreme circumstances make it difficult. Whereas your average woman sees sex as something they give if happy, in the mood and it feels right.

I think the difference often is that men are up for it a lot more than women as a whole.

If your partner upsets you and you are a woman, you're unlikely to have sex when he instigated it. If you are a man and she upsets you then instigates sex, you'd most likely accept it.

I think a majority of men are good and honest but do sometimes have some warped ideas about what sex should be. Then there are some nasty shits who just think of their knob and that's it.

Often women see sex as emotional whereas men don't.

I agree leave the site up. I understand that there are wives who withhold intimacy and the husbands may feel neglected and alone because she doesn't want to touch him. But surely rather than use your money to pay someone who wouldn't look out you without the money, talk with your wife!

Communication is everything and i believe they should talk it out with their wives who aren't sexually active with them and state that if things don't change they may look elsewhere etc.

On the other hand they have to understand that some women may fall out of love with their husbands, may not be attracted to them anymore for various reasons such as health, letting themselves go, and growing older... this can contribute to a woman not wanting to sleep with her husband and vice versa.

Most married men who use prostitutes are quite happy with the free childcare and all the other things they get out of marriage.

Sorry I didn't mean to stir up a hornets nest with my post. I agree UKP is an awful site and am shocked with the current prosecutions for hate speech on social media that this site continues. Some of the comments are very threatening toward the working ladies and even other contributors of the site.

I think the most surprising part of this thread is the idea that because something happens you don't like, you should shut it down.

Discussing cheating on your wife or sleeping with prostitutes is not illegal but you think that you should "bring it down".

a) blocking IP's is easy. You would soon get bored of trying to circumvent it to "spam the shit out of them".

b) to actually bring it down, you would need to act illegally.

c) bringing out comments like "I'm glad I'm a lesbian" was predictable and insulting. If I were judged as a woman after someone read AIBU or MN's Feminist boards then I wouldn't be happy about it.

d) I suspect they would find winding up "whiny harridans" for an evening hilarious.

I do find some of what I have read there sadly typical of men in general. Am not a lesbian but am glad no longer to be married and having to deal with the rubbish such men bring to a relationship.

It is attitudes such as that site represents which keep me single....I haven't got time or the inclination to sort out the decent men from the fucknuts who post on sites like this.

No it's a crap attitude I agree....but sadly my experience of men is not good. If I went into therapy for this attitude I would be there years...that's how bad my experiences have been.

And I did say there are decent men out there...I know lots of decent men but they tend to be married and they don't stray...as far as I know.
