We should stand up for women by bringing down UK Punting...

bringdownUKP · 21/03/2017 16:08

Over the course of a couple of threads recently my attention has been brought to the site UK Punting.

Basically where 'punters' go to rate working girl's and (the married ones) laugh about their wives and swap tips on how to avoid detection.

Apparently the poor little lambs can't help themselves.

Take a look for yourselves: www. ukpunting. com

AIBU that those of us who are genuinely pissed off with the misogynistic bullshit half of the users spout on there should set up fake profiles (not using your usual email address) and spam the shit of them?

And this isn't against WGs....you can do what you like with your body. It's the disgusting human beings that are cheating on their wives and partners and being smug thinking it's a bloody game...

Is it the royal we?

dustmotesinthesun · 05/07/2017 18:29

Or people with disabilities (particularly those who are housebound) and can now check the backgrounds of any girls/boys they may wish to employ using sites like UKP and can then look forward to a safe and pleasurable interaction

No one has a right to sex. There are no exceptions. I've had periods of my life where I've been housebound due to a disability. I love sex. It's a huge part of my life. Not once when housebound did I buy the use of someone else's body. Because doing so is abhorrent. If I sleep with someone, it's only pleasurable if they want to be there.

dustmotesinthesun · 05/07/2017 18:31

I would strongly recommend watching this series on the BBC if anyone wants to see a little of the reality of prostitution for many women in this country. It's an absolutely fantastic series.

ForalltheSaints · 05/07/2017 18:33

I would hate to have a review of my work performance on a public website, and I do not work in any part of the 'sex industry'. Horrible
site and sad it exists at all.

TDHManchester · 05/07/2017 18:51

dustmotesinthesun ..i watched that series and it truly does show the ugly side of street prostitution which is clearly at the bottom end of the industry. Mostly hard up heroin or crack addicts. I can only assume that the men who pick them up must be deranged. Who would honestly want to get close to any of them? I wouldnt touch any of them if they paid me a whole lot of money.

Their stories are many but again, it all comes down to personal choice. Dont dabble with heroin or crack then you wont get hooked and you wont have to tout your body on some grubby northern town street.

As the OP speaks of ,,was it ukpunting??,,presumably they are also aware of adultwork, another website on which women masquerade as "escorts". They set themselves apart from common prostitututes but really they are all the same. They do howver seek to command upwards of £100/150 and up an hour for their company.

Words fail me.

Are we seriously to believe that all or even most of these women are victims of rape /domestic violence/male aggression which somehow has driven them to prance about on adultwork with a huge overestimation of their value?

No,they do it and they charge that amount becuase mugs are prepared to pay and onece you have scored £150 for a quick round with some horny bloke, well working for £7 or £8 an hour hardly cuts it does it?

What about males and females who have no other prospect of a loving relationship and so feel that paying an escort is their only outlet?

araiwa · 05/07/2017 18:55

Hows progress?

dustmotesinthesun · 05/07/2017 18:58

I really wonder how many people wake up one day and think 'i quite fancy some heroin today'

I know there are many reasons for drug addiction but I'd imagine some people are preyed on by drug dealers and introduced to softer stuff first and lured onto harder stuff. It's a downward spiral and the women are too young or naive to realise what's happening. Many women are groomed essentially by people pushing drugs on them because the men know they can then abuse/sell the women.

Many prostitutes were sexually abused as children. A great many of them will have turned to drugs because drugs are the only way they can cope with their trauma.

Life really isn't black and white. But yes it would help if people didn't have drug habits.

I'm a woman! Smile

FYI Pougie - sealioning has a few definitions, but this is what your posts remind me of:

'Pretense to politeness and sincerity - Sealions are just "asking [questions] nicely" but they are asking questions that have been asked and answered fully many times, and are unwilling to [...] recognize the validity of your sources, your experience or expertise',

and also:

'[...] they have no intention of listening, because it's your job to make them understand. It is a specific form of harassment. [...] This isn't a sincere attempt at anything. It's a calculated technique to grind an opponent down.'

It's based on this webcomic and quite an established meme now: wondermark.com/1k62/

"I really wonder how many people wake up one day and think 'i quite fancy some heroin today'"

I can perhaps help a little with that. Over the years i have known two people who got hooked on heroin. One male, one female. They both got involved in heroin via what some these days call soft/recreational drugs. Obviously they were moving in the wrong circles and after a while a little dabble with something else,,,they fool themselves that they arent junkies, they can handle it,they only do a bit at the weekend and eventually,,well you just cant put it down. One of their druggie associates was a male whos girlfriend was an NHS Nurse. He used her to access NHS drugs that she acquired for him. Pretty soon she was hooked too.

TinyRick · 06/07/2017 03:34

Hahaha. That's the first time I have been told I am a 'nasty piece of work'.

Because I dared to swear?

Or because I posted a link that exposes what Johns actually think and feel entitled to from prostituted women?

user1498852361 · 21/07/2017 18:32

Ok so I am an escort. Not currently working as I'm on a break to start a family. I know I get judged by this but I always do protected service do not use drugs and only see a very limited amount of clients for longer bookings and mostly I do adult webcam among it all which I have continued.

When I started working in London I had an online hate campaign on that side against me by someone who stalked me, he revealed my name on Facebook, my house got burglars and vandalised, and since I have had hate speeches and the most disgusting and horrible things said about me. I am not a bad person. And the main thing that's upset me is that's what they have said.

I stood up for myslef upon the criticism and told them how they all disgust me and need to be more respectful and none of them would pass my client screening and would never be fortunate enough to meet me because of they disgusting way they talk about women. I also reported the stalking to admin who is a horrible misogynistic person worse than them all! And he banned me from the site and still to This day my personal details are on there.

This has lead to my name being found out my young sister being messaged on Facebook about seeing us together for a threesome customers wives finding out and threatening me and me being stalked for sometime, I moved out of the area I was living in changed all of my numbers and pictures, became exteremly careful with who I speak to and see and feel constantly paranoid that something bad is going to happen next.

For this reason I think that website needs to be shut down as it's the sharing of people's personal details and lies and nastiness that is shared on there and its impacts women's health and safety.

I do have a baby on the way so am no longer working escorting however that's site has really made my life hell and still scares me. It needs to be shut down.

That's a good point. I didn't want to look at it, but if there's personal details of women on there, it absolutely needs to be shut down.

Both parties involved in prostitution are consenting adults using the other for their own personal gain.

Oh, really? You do not feel the slightest bit ashamed of yourself posting this right after a woman describes just how johns have treated her?
All consenting adults with no power differential there at all. Are you even reading what you write before you post it? Hmm

The user above does escorting and is one of the higher class prostitutes, so to speak, is very careful about her safety and she still got that abuse.

One can easily imagine how johns treat immigrant women who don't speak English.

And yet, you compare this disgusting misogyny to what women say on mumsnet?

How can you even live with yourself?

user1498852361 · 29/07/2017 00:03

My personal details address friends personal details and addresses have all been shared on that site. And I have had people from that site turn up to see me before they have been perfectly normal passed my screening process proved that they are infact who they say they are and when it has come to the time I spend with them and I have had to throw them out because of the disgusting way that they are. They have terrible hygiene, one spat in my face, another grabbed me by the throats and underpaid me and did something I do not allow against my will. I have had to ban people from seeing me and post warnings on them after the problems I have had.

The clients that I do have that spend the big money and are nice and respectable regular clients of mine don't use any of those sites are discreet and treat it how it should be treated without any of the misogynistic bullshit attached to it.

This site is a danger to girls, our safety and our privacy and causes stalkers and the not so nice types to mix their misogynistic views and share things about our privacy with eachother.

My home has been broken into I had to move my name was revealed they did nothing. It's a very dangerous site for girls and must be closed down.

user1498852361 · 29/07/2017 00:05

And agreed the way they treat non English women is disgusting. I feel physically sick seeing the things they say and the way they act about a certain lady like they are a different specimen. The guys on this site are dangerous and it needs closing down.

Scotschic · 17/09/2017 14:59

As an ex sex worker then I can tell you that when the men ask us THAT question - that just about every WG I know hates - "so why do you do this job"? then most of us would say " we just love sex" because we want them to come back to pay us, if your honest and say its the cash then they get oh so offended, I once told a guy the truth, "well you need a shag and I need an income" in a polite smiley way (I wasn't being offensive at all) then he got his revenge by writing me an awful review on that pathetic site, I was upset for about two months, it was awful.

Men that pay for sex are just using WGs for sex, yet they can say this to us but how dare we be honest with them and say its about the cash, double standards!!

Tbh I have met about 70 odd WGs in my time and I have never met one that says she enjoys the sex, its all about the cash, a WG is an actress and most of the guys will never get that, or they don't want to get it tbf.

Also WGs come from both classes, not JUST working class as some OPs have stated, I'm educated, my family is lower middle class but I ended up being dumped when my daughter was only 8 months old and he was the working one and so he was my only income and then I had to get on benefit's, most WGs I knew were single mothers.

Strangely enough its mainly the middle class clients that believe we are all nymphs, whereas your working class guy knows the score, ie its about the cash for us and not the sex.

That job has ruined me, and as a result I now hate men in general and I have a nice figure but I no longer wear fitted clothes as I cannot stand men checking me out.

All in all prostitution is an awful thing for a woman but a necessity for over 50% of the guys that use them. They say 1 in 10 men pay for sex, I think its more like 3 in 10.

I know this is an old thread but I couldn't resist posting.

I hate UKP but I stopped reading it as it made me so damn angry and upset, I have had a couple of "good" reviews, but they were full of lies, "she answered the door wearing nothing but a thong, stockings and a smile", Erm no I didn't!!

Sad sad losers.

Scotschic · 17/09/2017 17:16

The BBC documentary that you referred too is about street prostitution which is totally different to sauna/indie/escort work. Of course a girl that plies her trade on the street is only there for the cash, the guys that pay them are creeps, although no doubt that they delude themselves into thinking "they just love sex", exploitation at its finest.

It's a very dangerous site for girls and must be closed down.
Sorry, but isn't prostitution ultimately dangerous for the perception that women can easily be bought, and consequently a lowering of general respect for women as a whole? Not just this site.
If you chose to go into prostitution I don't see why you wouldn't expect to meet some nasty characters while doing it. Obviously they're not right, but if you are selling your body some ppl will expect more freedom with it than you want to provide. Don't know how you're going to stop that.

Scotschic · 22/09/2017 04:55

Fritzdonovan

I know and understand what you mean but alot of these reviews are fabricated and you may get a guy that writes 'she did x,y,z' when infact she didn't and then another client may book the girl and get all nasty because you didn't do x y z with him.

It also says in the rules of UKP that addresses of girls are not allowed on the site yet the site moderator doesn't take them down, he is also a client of these girls.

Prostitution will never ever be stopped and so we may as well try to make it as safe as possible.

I've been in the industry for years on+off and I've never once been assaulted & I've worked in parlours, escort agencies and for myself, 95% of clients are fine and if you are tight with your screening and learn self defence then you will most likely never come to harm.

I for one do not see the harm in the petition.
