Hmm... again, on the premise the RP is legit, he/she (remember my theory it is Spicer?) is thinking this Tran thing could be leading to a Secret Service purge and/drastic security changes at the White House. Perhaps a bigly wall?

My only thought is, if Tran did have an appointment - or thought he did - why did he scale a fence? Was he turned back at the gates?

Trump (Bannon) wants his own security who are loyal to him. Not the Secret Service, who are loyal to the country. They can't be 'trusted' to keep Trump's dirty secrets or turn a blind eye to dirty deeds.

The Secret Service doesn't sign Non Disclosure Agreements. And if subpoenaed they aren't going to perjure themselves for someone like Trump.

Apparently Pruitt's office has been deluged with phone calls for questioning global warming.

If this is so, it really is extraordinary. Yet amongst the crazy storm of everything else Trump, I'm not sure many people will appreciate just how unusual it is. Bannon is chipping normal procedure bit by bit and replacing it with - fascist building blocks, if you like. Eventually - like the analogy of a frog boiling in water - you have an authoritarian government, led by a demagogue turned dictator.
