A great deal, I fear, illegitimate. But they're starting to see through 45 so there will be some who will resist that siren song of the pork barrel.

cozie, I think the question now is "We know what the president knew, now who can we get to do something about it?".

I can only believe that much is going on behind the scenes with people who are in a position to either start impeachment proceedings or initiate a serious investigation into the election/Russia/et al and there's just not quite enough direct evidence to indict Trump, but they're working on it! It's too bad we can't have one of them go on TV and give us a knowing wink and lay their finger to the side of their nose. I'd be happy with that.

cozietoesie · 11/03/2017 22:39

Pence has turned out not to have the stomach to be Veep, let alone POTUS. I think that that's their big problem.

cozietoesie · 11/03/2017 22:46

Yes, it is. Not unexpected though, I fear.

MoonriseKingdom · 11/03/2017 23:56

38/50 - the ones I got 'wrong' were just alternative answers so really I got 50 - a bigly tremendous result, more than anyone else ever, the best.

cozietoesie · 12/03/2017 00:09

I see that nobody has got 55 yet? Grin You're all so SAD!! Wink

illegitimateMortificadospawn · 12/03/2017 00:18

It might have looked like I got 38/50, but it was camera angles. From where I was standing, it was a round 50 and I can't believe I'm having to reiterate this over and over again. My score was definitely bigger than Obama's. Everyone who is trustworthy - not the mainstream media of course - agrees my score was bigger. (and so on...)

MoonriseKingdom · 12/03/2017 00:25

Unpresidented

cozietoesie · 12/03/2017 00:28

And 'unpresidential'. As his predecessor opined - 'not fit to serve'.

cozietoesie · 12/03/2017 00:38

Ah. They're trying to go after Comey now. They chose the wrong man to attack.

Sarah Palin has done an interview with Breitbart slamming the healthcare bill. They have Ryan's name all over it and make out it is pretty much nothing to do with Trump. The message is that Ryan's care bill is a disaster and that Trump will step in and sort it out. A lot of pressure on Trump and a clear sign his supporters are turning against this healthcare bill. Also not great for Ryan. I think he's going to take the fall for this one.

Sarah Palin on Paul Ryan’s ‘RINO-Care’: ‘Socialized Medicine’; President Trump Will ‘Step In and Fix It
www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/03/11/exclusive-palin-paul-ryans-rino-care-socialized-medicine-president-trump-will-step-in-fix/

Here is an excerpt

"Palin expressed serious concern with the fact that Ryan’s healthcare bill does not eliminate Obamacare’s individual mandate. It just shifts the mandate—which requires all Americans to purchase a health insurance plan even if they do not want one. Under Obamacare, those who do not comply, pay a tax to the federal government. Under Ryan’s plan, those who not comply, pay a fee to the insurance companies.

“This 30 percent additional fee will be collected by some in the private sector, which will mean politicians are allowed again to pick the winners and losers, and it makes you wonder who’s lobbying hardest for aspects of this new bill because obviously there are special interests involved. Otherwise, certain private sector segments of our economy wouldn’t be rewarded as they will be with this fee, instead of going to the IRS going to private companies,” Palin said. “It would be really helpful if every single one of these politicians would do like the NASCAR drivers do—and it’s been said before—but let them wear their sponsors plastered all over their three-piece suits when they show up so we know what side they’re on and who they’re actually doing their bidding for.”

illegitimateMortificadospawn · 12/03/2017 08:34

Is it me, or does mone of that sound like Palin wrote it? Have I been swayed by merciless lampooning of Palin in the media? Is she actually articulate and intelligent?

lionheart · 12/03/2017 08:38

I was reading that just now Bigly and you can see how they are preparing the ground so they can place the blame elsewhere.

This tactic will extend beyond healthcare reform and be used again to create a convenient distance between the Trump brand and GOP (who are, after all still swamp-dwellers).

If Obama and the liberal left cannot be blamed the establishment Republicans are very much in the front line.

The notion that Trump has some kind of Messianic power and will step in the save the world is fabulous, isn't it? Halo

illegitimateMortificadospawn · 12/03/2017 08:42

"And if Trump’s response to the destruction of California in the sketch—“So then I won the popular vote?”—seems ridiculous to the point of being mean, remember his response to the Sept. 11 attacks was essentially, “So now my building is the tallest in New York?”"

Did he actually said that? Was he seen celebrating it on the streets? Was that what he meant during the campaign?
