I can't even watch Angry Spice any more. He's become a parody. And he doesn't actually make sense or answer questions or tell the truth. Pointless.

And you're all safe from my links tonight as can't link on my phone. 😆

cozietoesie · 08/03/2017 20:04

I don't believe much - if anything - of what he says anymore.

Maybe he was a good press person once. Who can tell?

cozietoesie · 08/03/2017 20:10

I like your links by the way, Ginger.Smile A BIGLY contribution.

GingerIvy · 08/03/2017 20:12

Rogue POTUS Staff on Twitter

Spicer: "I wish he'd have an affair. That'd be better than defending the stupid s* he says in Twitter."

GingerIvy · 08/03/2017 20:15

Thanks cozie 🙂

God this healthcare thing is utter bollocks!!

cozietoesie · 08/03/2017 20:44

Yes. And he has a 'little local problem' to deal with overseas. I reckon he'll ostrich on that one - leave it to the grown-ups to deal with.

At least, I hope so. Wink

Natsku · 08/03/2017 20:49

Threads are going slower now, seems like outrage is dying down which is worrying - its become the new normal.

cozietoesie · 08/03/2017 20:53

I think that people are thinking ahead, Natsku. Here at least.

I doubt that across the pond they're forgetting any of this. 2018 has to be geared up for though. If we get that far.

BiglyBadgers · 08/03/2017 20:55

I think we are still getting through a thread every couple of days or so. They go in fits and starts depending on what is going on. Also we do have lives to live. Work was busy today. I am still outraged but I do need to pay the mortgage!

cozietoesie · 08/03/2017 20:55

Remember - as I said backaways. Watergate didn't happen overnight.

Natsku · 08/03/2017 20:57

The outrage seems to be calming down on the American forum I'm on too

Natsku · 08/03/2017 21:01

But you're right, Watergate didn't happen overnight. Just hope people don't become too complacent.

cozietoesie · 08/03/2017 21:06

If they're still around to feel angry - after the 'little local difficulty' has played out - then they won't be complacent. The man is ........not presidential.

BiglyBadgers · 08/03/2017 21:09

I do think people we settling in for the long haul. You can't maintain an extreme level of outrage on the long term. At this point people need to hold that anger together and use it, but if we all burn ourselves out we won't do any good at all. Sometimes slow and steady wins the race. Grin

Donald Trump-Russia dossier: US media reports corroborate some of Christopher Steele allegations

Natsku · 08/03/2017 21:12

Good point Bigly if I maintained by current level of anger I'd be a gibbering mess by 2018 Grin

I feel like I'm missing something. What is the local difficulty?

AcrossthePond55 · 08/03/2017 21:17

I tried, but just couldn't stick with Spicy. The way he smirks, gives a small guffaw and he repeats a question when he gets one he doesn't like. It's like he saying "I can't believe you are stupid enough to ask this". Extremely rude and unprofessional. It's a wonder one of the reporters hasn't thrown something at him by now!

Natsku, I think it's important to remember that even if something seems like it's becoming 'the new normal', that doesn't mean people aren't working to change it. It is 'normal' to read Scrotus' ridiculous tweets or hear Spicy's reinforcing Scrotus' imbecilic ideas because we expect it. We are also expecting legislation to be proposed that is racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, and pro-the-1%. And just because we aren't screaming, it doesn't mean we aren't fighting. Because this is going to have to be battled on the grassroots level, in our own communities. By being vocal with our Senators, our Representatives, and our neighbours. By getting people registered and to the polls in 2018. And that tends to be quiet fighting.

cozietoesie · 08/03/2017 21:21

North Korea, illegitimate. The topic that gave 45's predecessor sleepless nights.

cozietoesie · 08/03/2017 21:23

I agree, Across - and electoral 'scrutiny' is going to be critical to ensure ........compliance.

illegitimateMortificadospawn · 08/03/2017 21:31

Thanks cozie

Lweji · 08/03/2017 21:36

Interesting story on Mr Steel.

Do we know how's Mr Kalugin's health?

Lweji · 08/03/2017 21:38

Sorry, Mr Steele.

He's no man of steel and should be careful.
