I read with interest the flurry of tweets from DT today. No further mention of wiretapping since the other day, but lots on JOBS!, fixing the disaster of healthcare (don't worry!), griping inaccuracies about Obama, and of course FAKE NEWS.
It's as if he sees his twitter feed as the only true source of real news - the horse's mouth, so to speak - and anything else is not to be trusted. Maybe Fox and Friends, and Brietbart on occasion, but otherwise, media is downright WRONG. I can see his point. The biases, particularly strong in US media, must be frustrating. Much of what I read could be classed opinion, not factual pieces. So, instead of 'fake', the word he should be using is 'subjective,' as what they are reporting isn't necessarily untrue but biased heavily to one side or the other.
So when Trump posts to Twitter, he perhaps feels this is an untainted piece of information. The problem arises when the source of the information is questioned. He cannot make a statement - nobody can - without giving a credible source. Media, at least, do this. Trump, as a President and an information source, loses credibility when he refuses to do so.
Sorry, rant over!
