I've been here for a looong time. I namechange regularly now after being quite spectacularly outed in rl.

Dh reckons I'm still very obvious despite name changes. As in, family and friends would recognise me and all the many MNers I know in real life will instantly know it's me.

So here's an experiment. This name is fairly fresh and I've only posted a bit. Do you recognise me? Should inbe much more circumspect? And is it a bad thing if I'm recognisable, really?

No idea who anyone is.
I've been posting / lurking since 2004 and don't recognise anyone's style at all.
A few names are familiar because they post so much but style is harder to spot now that the site is so big.
No- one knows who I am I RL.

Ooh I think I know and if it is you then great, you are very witty and I always enjoy your posts.
I almost always notice usernames and there are quite a few posters on here I wonder about. There is some one who used to be prolific that hasn't posted since Christmas and I am wondering about her. I am very observant /nosey!

Do people really take notice of other posters names? Crumbs. I 'know' a few from long running support type threads. Other than that I just read posts as they stand. I couldn't care less if I thought I knew someone or they knew me Confused.

I feel like I'm missing out. I name change a few times a year and been here since 2011. I've never seen one friend posting, let alone lots. :(
