Sidcup and Bromley are in Kent!
Croydon is in Surrey!
Stratford is Essex!

Living in these areas is suburban. It's not living in London is very different it's suburban living.

Yes the tube map is huge just because it's on the tube doesn't make it London the metropolitan line goes to something like zone 6 I think it's further away than Brighton is the other way.

My dc tend to tell people they are from London because people know where it is and a lot of time they dont even know where Herts is let alone our town, but nobody had heard of Edmonton was when i was young.

Sure some people put kent as their address but just because someone does something doesn't make it right.

I'd say that if you live in a 'London borough of.....' the you are likely to live in London.

I no longer live in sidcup, but I did always write my address with Kent at the end. I guess ultimately it doesn't really matter.
