We got a call from a member of public today at work (vets) that there was a dead dog on the beach.

Two of my colleagues went to collect it. They came back white as sheets. The poor little dog was charred to the bone. My boss feels it was set light to whilst still alive due to certain indicators.

That poor poor little mite. WHY?? fucking WHY would you do That??

There was no microchip and we couldn't tell if the dog was either a staffie pup or jack russel terrier. It had been in the sea for some time. It's teeth were clean which suggests he was quite young.

What made it worse was that the police wouldn't even issue a crime numberAngry RSPCA did show up but realistically felt there was nkthing to be done.

So this poor little dog had been tortured to death and whoever did it will get away with it without so much as even having to wonder if they will get caught.

I am struggling to shift the image of thus little dig yet these vike disgusting little cants are probably laughing and joking about it.

I honestly despair of the human race at times Angry

SarcasmMode yes same here! I'm usually against people taking justice into their own hands, except in cases like this Angry

Awful but I can understand why the police are not getting involved. They don't have the resources and are being told from on high to prioritise certain crimes. In some areas of there is a murder and you have had a breakin don't expect anything to be done 😩 Lack of police/csi to attend and even giving a crime number is a lot of paperwork

I know the RSCPA isn't held in high esteem on MN but hopefully they'll take the case and lead to a conviction , someone will know something.

The media coverage and the photos are horrific, DON'T search them if you cannot unsee.

Poor little thing Angry

I read about this earlier on the local news site. Poor puppy. I hope something dreadful happens to the person/s that did this. Angry

someone did something similar to this to my cat, she was only young at the time, still a kitten, she got out one night while I was sleeping, I was alone at home, 15 at the time and when I woke up I couldnt find her anywhere. Went out into the garden and she was lying in the grass crying but wouldnt move. when I got closer I could see that all the fur had gone off her face and back and she stank of smoke. her eye was three times the normal size and bright red and her ears were hanging off. luckily I had some helpful neighbours as my mum was at the hospital with my sister as she was having a baby. the vet report stated that a firework had been put in her mouth and lit as she couldnt close her jaw either and she had been set on fire.one eye and two half ears later she was fine but after seeing my baby like that I vowed to cut off the bastards fingers if I ever found out who it was. I understand your feelings as I never got justice and eight years on the image of that day still haunts me
lots of hugs to you and your colleagues xx

I'm mad about animals, babies especially. I've just been looking on you tube and adorable kittens and puppies. It just breaks my heart to the thought that anyone could possibly hurt them. I mean you can see the trust innocence and wonder in their eyes. Its just beyond human comprehension.
