We got a call from a member of public today at work (vets) that there was a dead dog on the beach.

Two of my colleagues went to collect it. They came back white as sheets. The poor little dog was charred to the bone. My boss feels it was set light to whilst still alive due to certain indicators.

That poor poor little mite. WHY?? fucking WHY would you do That??

There was no microchip and we couldn't tell if the dog was either a staffie pup or jack russel terrier. It had been in the sea for some time. It's teeth were clean which suggests he was quite young.

What made it worse was that the police wouldn't even issue a crime number RSPCA did show up but realistically felt there was nkthing to be done.

So this poor little dog had been tortured to death and whoever did it will get away with it without so much as even having to wonder if they will get caught.

I am struggling to shift the image of thus little dig yet these vike disgusting little cants are probably laughing and joking about it.

I wish crimes against animals were taken.more seriously as there is a link between hurting animals and moving on to people.

That's so awful, there are some sick people in the world. The vast majority are good but those few twisted, evil, messed up individuals can overshadow that sometimes... My DP once witnessed a man raping a dog that had its paws tied together Fucking sick fucks. (man arrested and dog living a happy life now thankfully) It's so hard to understand why some people do these things but there's no point, they don't think normally... they don't have empathy like the rest of us.. we can't relate.

Oh they'll get theirs OP. Trust me on that. Karma gets around to everyone and one day they'll get it all back in spades. I can't even imagine what I would do to anyone who touched my dogs like that. They would suffer horribly before dying and if I went to prison for it, it would be worth it.

Cruelty to animals enrages me beyond belief. There is no way I would be responsible for my actions if I saw someone doing something like that. Which would be totally unhelpful, most likely, but it just gives me the sickening disgust and rage.

Luckily as these posts show, for every fucking psychotic twat, there are many more good people.

Agree, this is really horrible, and it's tempting to wish all sorts of horrors onto the perpetrators. However, I feel a bit better imagining a future when these people not only properly realise what they did but also have the knowledge that there is nothing that will take the guilt away for as long as they live.
The dog is now out of pain, but theirs has not yet started.

OMG. I'm weeping. How evil can people be. How could anyone inflict such agony on something so uncorrupt and innocent. An animal's purity and innocence makes you want to protect and nurture it.
