I can vaguely remember similar threads but have done a search and can't find a bedroom one. We are swapping rooms in our upstairs to even out the other 2 rooms so moving from front to back of house. Just being nosy looking for inspiration if anyone is willing to post? I can post our current one once DS is asleep Smile

Pardon the mess under the television, ages of clutter meets prepping-a-package-to-post-to-a-friend...

I made the quilt on the bed myself and almost hit DH when he asked me if I was serious that I wanted to put it on the bed every day. (This is after I spent nearly a year hand-quilting the damn thing, which is 250x240 cm)

Misty the chandelier is from B&Q I think! We bought it a while back when we lived in a different house.
I've not been through all the photos yet. But from some comments I read, have some people posted pics from google?? As in pretending it's their own bedroom, or just posting their ideal bedroom? If the former then that's hilarious!! Grin

We designed the house from scratch but are totally stuck on interiors (which is why I'm loving this thread!)
The light is amazing but curtains are going to be a nightmare.

weekelpie. I'm pleased you got to a place where you were ready to do your room, you've done a fab job of it. It's a fab sized room post divorce, well done on that score too.

wanderingtrolley. Yours is the closest to my dream room. Mine is currently plastered and waiting to be painted. Sadly, that's not going to make it any bigger or install a fireplace 😢😂

Am loving all these and looking for inspiration.

This bedroom is temporary for me hence the lack of proper wardrobe. I have given mine to returning DD and moved into what used to be my living room. Should get my own room back later this year...

Furry little twerp. Mine would look like yours f I didn't have so much storage in the room.
We have a 12 feet long white floor to ceiling wardrobe. A Hemnes 8 door chest. Two white chest of drawers either side of bed. A white cheval mirror.
A 5 feet high white wood filing cabinet ( only about 15 ins wide, but 14 drawers, for paperwork and other such nonsense.)
A white anaboda ( Ikea) six feet high about 18 ins wide, cabinet door and shelves and beside that a 7 feet high white Ikea DVD cabinet without door.

I still have stuff on top of the hemnes chest despite decluttering a couple of weeks ago!

So it's not that your rooms are untidy, you just need more storage ;-)

This is the spare room which was DS1's choice of colour...I may tone it down a bit sometime....and maybe take down DS's party decorations Grin

There are currently way more pillows than we usually would have...I bought some nice new plump ones...but OH insisted on having the old ones back...he sleeps in there while on nights

....oh and the cat has bloody well ruined the bed...we find blacks flakes all over the shop. It is old so will replace soon

Oh, I forgot, a narrow 4 drawer cabinet, about 10 ins wide and three feet high which is perfect to store all my essential oils in and smells gorgeous when I open it.
Dh has a shoe collection under the bed

Next door to the bedroom is our 11-6 by 7 feet walk in closet ! This has floor to ceiling storage along 11-6 wall and across 7 feet wall.

My grandsons room ( same size) is blessed with about 8 feet of ( full) floor to ceiling wardrobes.

The end bedroom has three ( full) bookcases, a vanity sink with doors on, which houses my collection of herbal tinctures and a 6 feet floor to ceiling ( full) wardrobe, which I will be changing to white this summer to match the rest of the furniture.

The loft is full and so is the garage.

There's two people live here and I've been decluttering the cupboards since New Year's Day!

The closet is next on my list.
