To think that cat owners that smoke don't realise how bad they smell?

I bought some cake decorating stuff (second hand) at the weekend and it stinks. I put it through the dishwasher and now that stinks too. Why don't people realise that having cats shitting in the kitchen is vile - and why are cat litter trays often in the kitchen? Would the bathroom not be more appropriate? Why mix cooking with the toxic stink of cat shit?

And in answer to all of the cat owners that will tell me that their cat/house doesn't smell, you're wrong, it does, and there's cat hair all over you. Smokers have no defence other that you probably can't smell how bad you are because you've knackered your tastebuds.

I am never going to buy another second hand thing unless it's from a 'smoke & pet free house'. Stinky fuckers.

Totally about cats smelling. What do they smell of - well, cat, but what's that like ? Our cat doesn't smell, she is the first cat we've had and I can identify smoke, dogs, sheep, unclean person, spicy food and bad teeth on stray people I meet ,surely I'd have noticed cat smell when she arrived even if I've adjusted to it now!

Cats and dogs do come with their own smell, so do humans.

Horses, though, they smell lovely. Nothing like a big noseful of horse. Yummy.

I want to meet this cat that is baking cakes, have they upgraded to better equipment or were customers complaining of the odd cat hair in the icing.
I'm looking at my cats in a whole new light, what secret talents do they have that I have been neglecting. Thinking about it the eldest is a trained assassin as she likes to lie on your face whilst sleeping.

Calm the fuck down.. I have cats and smoke occasionally, my partner smokes often, at the front door. Our house probably is cleaner and smells a lot better than yours! We have nurses etc who would tell us if our house wasn't good enough because of our transplant daughter, they have all said it's fine and when coming round have always commented on how fresh it smells, judge the house that did stink not everyone else's when you haven't been there so have no evidence, you're the fucker, a cheeky one at that.

I love how my cat smells just after she's baked a cake.

My cat smells gross but he is very old. I think you have to accept that it you have pets your house won't smell as nice as if you didn't have pets, my cats litter tray is in the kitchen because there is no where else it would fit other than the living room of one of the bedrooms. I can't not have a litter tray because my fat lazy cat won't poo outside. I do fantasise about giving him away but I love him really.

I dont understand this, some people and house really do smell.
But I have cats and I can guarantee my family and house doesn't smell and to walk in and glance around you would never guess we had pets! And we have a fair few

Don't buy 2nd hand stuff as it will stink of that person, whether it be cat piss or the stinky smoker!

I have a cat litter tray in my kitchen and I hate it but I don't know where else to put it.
We have a small bathroom and it wouldn't fit in everyone would be falling over it.

One of my family member has 5 cats and their house doesn't smell neither do their clothes. I think the ones that would smell are people who don't look after their homes in general not the average cat owner.

I bought some stuff of eBay that really stank of cats. Had to throw it away it was so bad.

However my mum has a cat and her house has never smelt.

So I think you aren't talking sense.
