to ask you to name my business..?

Firstly, I apologise. I know there have been a slew of these requests with the new year. But reading some of the suggested names, I was so impressed..

So, I was hoping someone might be able to help me...

I have a company that produces decorative outdoor screens and lattices. Up until now I had just been trading under a generic ltd company name but am hoping to market more extensively in the new year.

Problem is, is I have no clever name for the business.. At all.

Basically the business sells decorative/design led outdoor/garden things. Not just screens/lattices, but that is the core product. So I don't really want the name to contain the word "screens" or reference screens in particular, as we do sell other things..

Am adding a picture of one of the products but will happily remove if it is viewed as not appropriate/marketing.

Thank you!!!

Thanks Rorty the screens are made of wood composite so they are super durable outside. Don't warp/age/discolour.

Thanks so much everyone. Very kind of you all!

Ecran doesn't really do it for me don't know what it means and it could be anything.

When I chose a name for my website I just went for what google searches for. SEO optimisation. It comes up very quickly on google. Not very imaginative though

Cache is something my computer does that slows it down. Don't see it as secret.

PuppyMonkey · 30/01/2017 18:55

Cache used to be a perfum too didn't it?

HelpP1ease · 30/01/2017 22:40

Ah yes you are all right about cache.. I have seriously hit the wall of decision fatigue. I had grand plans of deciding a name over the weekend and that obviously has not happened...
Must re-focus my efforts!

I'd avoid puns or other plays on words.

Something that contours up a certain image, without being directly descriptive, may work e.g. The name of an exotic flower.

3luckystars · 30/01/2017 23:22

I love puns on words, (there's a capet guy here called Lino Richie and it always makes me laugh) but I'm probably not who you are aiming at? I do love the fencing in the photo though.

Trellissimo and Arborellis are great!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 30/01/2017 23:51

I like Arborellis !

iknowimcoming · 31/01/2017 00:01

First thing that came to my mind was Hummingbird designs/gardens or dragonfly designs, not sure why, but they are outdoorish without being specific to a particular item, also you could use the critters in your logo

salsmum · 31/01/2017 06:13

Enjoy the screenery screen play, secret garden, custom screens,no more smoke screens, a midsummer nights screen.
