I'm not a Trump-lover ... but how about a challenge, MN? Instead of a thread full of woe, let's find something nice to say about the POTUS. Anything. I'm sure you can if you try! Let's see how far we can make it. I'll start.

I really like the strength of his hair products...

No fake tan.... he's taking inspiration from the 1990s tango adverts

Tomorrowillbeachicken · 20/01/2017 12:43

Or drank too much 1990s Sunny Delight

Badcat666 · 20/01/2017 12:43

I like that he loves his long haired guinea pig SO much that he has trained it to sit on his head and takes it everywhere with him.

JoffreyBaratheon · 20/01/2017 13:18

I'm grateful for all the comedy we're going to get - missed it ever since we saw the back of George W.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 20/01/2017 13:23

This thread is making me think of the scene in Cinderella.
Lucifer (Trump) has his good points, too. For one thing he. Well sometimes he. There must be something good about him

lingle · 20/01/2017 13:30

I like that he has galvanised my SIL to start supporting women's charities.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 20/01/2017 13:42

I like the fact that I have "American Idiot" by Green Day going round and round in my head today.

I am no Melania Fan but I thought she looked stunning just now - going into the church with Trump.

Elendon · 20/01/2017 13:52

Lots of people voted for him? Which much feel nice to him. I'm sure though he doesn't want our pity.

Elendon · 20/01/2017 13:55

His handshake won't crush you. small hands

BarbarianMum · 20/01/2017 14:09

Do you think radio 4 will do a "Donald Trump quote of the day " like they did for Rumsfeld? That'd be great ! Grin

SouthWindsWesterly · 20/01/2017 14:10

He aspires. Despite the evidence, he always aspires

I like that he doesn't walk around naked.

LeghamSparkl · 20/01/2017 14:31

Depends what circles you mix with, SpongeBob.

Heatherbell1978 · 20/01/2017 14:38

I'm grateful that he's provided me with a new found admiration of Alec Baldwin.
Oh and my ego has been given a great boost just knowing I'm smarter than the POTUS!

AnnPerkins · 20/01/2017 14:54

He's done so much for the vocabulary of the rest of the world.

He has single tiny handedly influenced myriad new ways of arranging words to describe the fuckwitted tangerine man-baby.

paxillin · 20/01/2017 15:02

His middle name is John! Donald John Trump!

He's DJ Fart.

Bambamrubblesmum · 20/01/2017 15:10

Everytime he tweets I make money on the stock market Grin

spaXXlappazz · 20/01/2017 15:15

Lots of things are positive about Trump:

  1. The world dodged Hillary, surely the only person who would be capable of losing that election.
  2. Considering the amount of abuse he gets, he has been surprisingly restrained.
  3. He's in Putin's pocket, so what? Escalating tensions between the US and Russia won't end well for any of us.
  4. He needs friends and allies, putting the UK in a better negotiating position now that we need friends and allies too.

Alright that's only four things, not a "lot", and some of them are a bit dodgy to say the least. But it will an be "interesting" few years.

I say judge the man on what he does whilst in power. If we expect the worst, there's a chance that he won't be quite as bad as we fear.

Bambamrubblesmum · 20/01/2017 15:17

Makes me wish Spitting Image was still around shows her age

Valentine2 · 20/01/2017 15:17

I totally appreciate the fact that he hasn't yet made a sex rape tape and it's remarkable considering the number of women he openly assaulted.
WHAT THE FUCK are you on about OP Angry

SaskiaRembrandtWasFramed · 20/01/2017 15:27

"He has made George dubbya Bush seem moderate and left wing, that's very generous of him."

Also eloquent and super-intelligent. Dubya must really, really love him.

MuteButtonisOn · 20/01/2017 15:32

I like the fact he makes the more spoilt US liberals froth to the extent they show their true colours of truly hating anyone who doesn't share their world view whilst they simultaneously complain about haters and preach love. I say this as a leftie liberal, honestly it's pathetic.

EssentialHummus · 20/01/2017 15:32

He's keeping up the world's gold prices with all those lavs.

He's put me right off moving to the States, thereby saving me and DH $$ in relocation fees, elocution lessons for our children and imported Twiglets.

I no longer have to wait for HIGNFY to laugh at politics - between him, Boris and May it's now a proper shitshow every night on BBC News.

He makes an amusing orange chew-toy for Putin.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 20/01/2017 15:37

I like his ability to manage to be elected as president of USA despite his many character flaws and crap hair.
