I had a relationship with a very well known boxer from London a couple of years back...

LuluJakey1 · 15/01/2017 11:23

Earlwoo and Gloria -it was my post that began by agreeing with Worra

Nothing to do with sycophancy. How ridiculous. You yourself Earlwoo agreed with Gloria in exactly the same way. We all do it. It is about keeping a discussion moving, linking point to points in way that makes it easy to follow several lines of thought in what is a linear formula. Without it the threads would not make sense at all.

Worra tends to be a succinct poster so easy to reference - and usually sensible rather than full of personal anecdote or attacks.

Fuxfurforall · 15/01/2017 11:30

I'm Holly Willoughby's body double - from the ankles down

Crowdblundering · 15/01/2017 11:31

I had a famous grandparent.

Parents in media so grew up around famous people.

Gave me a pretty big head as a kid actually and I don't think it was pleasant, my mum encouraged the idea it made me rather special.

We also knew Gary Glitter Confused.

Can't stand people who are famous for doing fuck all. Respect decent musicians/actors and people famous for having a purpose or being good at something.

BadKnee · 15/01/2017 11:37

Good to know that there is a fair cross section on here. I also love it that whenever there is a discussion about anything, someone here knows all about it . There are some very clever, very well informed people on here.

We may indeed be discussing education policy with those who actually have a hand in making it, or the ending of a novel with the writer!

FIL was quite well known in his own country. When he died, penniless, his funeral was arranged and paid for by their country's version of Bob Dylan, and he's buried in the capital's famous cemetery, with funeral attended by lots of well known people in their country.
No-one in UK (or indeed, most other countries than theirs Grin) would have heard of any of these people.

NancyDonahue · 15/01/2017 11:40

I have a very famous relative.

ForalltheSaints · 15/01/2017 11:41

I'm not even infamous!

KenzieBoosMummy · 15/01/2017 11:41

How cool! So we can be chatting to these famous people about our lives and never know about it?! That's super cool!

Anyone dare to reveal themselves?!? Or give subtle clues as to who they are?!

No lying! That spoils it! X

Silentplikebath · 15/01/2017 11:42

My DH has a very famous cousin. She is also a lovely person who I am proud to know and have in our lives.

GimmeeMoore · 15/01/2017 11:44

Downside of these threads is the hinting oh maybe I'm famous and then subsequent giddy guessing
It's online folk can type and claim any ole shite, and someone will stroke chin thinking mmm
Having known/met famous folk it's not something I dwell on.most remarkable folk we all know are just unfamously getting on with it

cafenoirbiscuit · 15/01/2017 11:45

My friend's younger sister is on TV quite a bit these days. I saw her in a play when she was 14 before the 'fame'. Have only seen her once since but I do squeal in excitement when I see her on the telly.

designonaut · 15/01/2017 11:45

Not famous in any way but I do have a PR agent. It's very nice having a PR agent Grin

LassWiTheDelicateAir · 15/01/2017 11:45

Who is Holly Willoughby? Seriously, I've never heard of her.

GimmeeMoore · 15/01/2017 11:47

She's a speak your weight,bubble head tv presenter.utterly vacuous

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 15/01/2017 11:49

She's very pretty and nice though.

BadKnee · 15/01/2017 11:49

She is making enemies of her neighbours with the way she behaves.

KenzieBoosMummy · 15/01/2017 11:52

FairieDemon - Peter Kay? Lee Evans?! Wink

MuteButtonisOn · 15/01/2017 11:52

I bet Charlie Brooker, Dawn French and Katie Hopkins all have accounts.

GimmeeMoore · 15/01/2017 11:53

Really?i heard she's a horror.in dispute with neighbours about noisy building works
I think she's vacuous and simpering

Thinkingofausername1 · 15/01/2017 11:53

I'm not famous. I wanted to be when I was young but in reality, I don't want to take drunks I don't drink loads and I like my quiet, sheltered life too much 😆.

BadKnee · 15/01/2017 11:54

Exactly Gimme - that's what I meant. "I am famous therefore I can do what I like" attitude

Thinkingofausername1 · 15/01/2017 11:54

Bloody typing errors meant to says drugs 🙄

GimmeeMoore · 15/01/2017 11:57

I don't care if dawn french et al have accounts,mn online, anonymous can't corroborate identity
I mean seriously what's it matter if someone famous is on mn or not
It doesn't elevate or validate their posts more than anyone else posts
