I would change the locks. I bet the last owners gave him keys and he 'forgot' to give them back when they sold up.

Now this is resolved - can anybody tell me what happened to the woman who had her gatepost demolished and rebuilt by her neighbour, who then claimed it as her own? We were left on a cliff edge with a promise of a future update........don't know if I missed it. (Hope somebody knows what I'm talking about!)

I know the thread you're referring to, Tapandgo but I don't think I got beyond the point where she was consulting a solicitor about where the actual boundary was. Perhaps someone else will be able to enlighten us...

OP it speaks volumes that he oferred to pay for the damage. Glad you got closure on it. I wouldn't have been able to let it go either. Cannot believe the cheek of him over the years.
