even though I'm not the OP?

We can't leave it there!

OP posts:
Megatherium · 11/01/2017 16:58

I assume there won't be more developments on the parking front if OP has taped off the entrance to her property.

SalemSaberhagen · 11/01/2017 17:43

Sorry chocolate, I had to throw them away after my rolling around in mirth at my toddler's knock knock joke resulted in them being upended on the floor. Apologies.

Manumission · 11/01/2017 17:57

Salem Grin

LittleMissH13 · 11/01/2017 18:07

Thanks for the update hollyisalovelyname

Ha that's crazy!!

TrickyD · 11/01/2017 22:17

Ginandtonic and Imso, is there any chance of your checking the electoral roll for a Caroline Somebody in the street and then lying in wait and getting a photo? Or at least getting a good look at her and reporting back?

SalemSaberhagen · 11/01/2017 22:45

Jesus tricky, you're on stalker territory there Confused

CaraAspen · 11/01/2017 22:52

Bonkers thread.

QueenMortificado · 11/01/2017 23:08

Ummmm Tricky bit weird that!

BerylStreep · 11/01/2017 23:12

Still no sign of Caroline?

Birdlady I know it has been mentioned already, but since you are away from the house quite a bit I would really recommend getting some sort of bollard fitted. A chain across the drive won't be of any use given the brass neck of the neighbours.

Are you going to respond to the note?

TrickyD · 11/01/2017 23:31

Sorry, Salem and Queen, yes daft idea, got carried away by the general barminess of the thread. but I wish they would

Wdigin2this · 12/01/2017 00:17

I think I know what the back story is....did the OP ever get locking drop down bollards for her drive?

BlossomHillOne · 12/01/2017 07:06

That really is a step too far too Tricky - I've been enjoying the thread from a distance, but you seem rather over invested.

Jaynebxl · 12/01/2017 07:44

Goodness it's hard to keep up with all of this!

TrickyD · 12/01/2017 08:26

OK, OK , Blossom, I said I was sorry, calm down.

Manumission · 12/01/2017 08:35

So asking for page-grabs of the elctoral roll wouldn't go down well then? Wink

hollyisalovelyname · 12/01/2017 09:58

Have we had an update from the original poster ?

birdladyfromhomealone · 12/01/2017 10:11

I am a little scared to update seeing as there are three other neighbours on here lol.

MyCatsHateMLMtoo · 12/01/2017 10:13

I don't blame you, birdy, I would be freaked out if I thought any of my neighbours knew me on mn Grin.

MyCatsHateMLMtoo · 12/01/2017 10:15

Having said that....would love an update anyway Blush, sorry Wink.

alltheothernamesareinuse · 12/01/2017 10:18

Clearly you need to organise a street party!

birdladyfromhomealone · 12/01/2017 10:18

I asked mumsnet to remove the identifying pictures , I shouldn't of posted them in hindsight but was fuming.
At then end of the day I have done nothing to be vilified for, I didn't shout at the carer but was stroppy with her I admit.
The neighbours has been using my drive for three years without my knowledge, that is completely out of order especially when they have a blue badge for the lady. Who I saw walking to the carers car yesterday.
I still have no idea who Caroline is, I haven't seen her car on any drive since it left mine. I think she has hidden it so we dont know which house she lives in?

alltheothernamesareinuse · 12/01/2017 10:19

...and invite all 10000 MNers

alltheothernamesareinuse · 12/01/2017 10:21

We'll have a race to see who can get to your parking space first. Even have a few rounds of musical cars chairs?

user892 · 12/01/2017 10:23

birdladyfromhomealone Did Nicholarse show his face?

wowfudge · 12/01/2017 10:24

Send them an invoice birdlady. Cheeky bastards. And install a fake CCTV camera to deter them. Unfortunately it's trespass and a civil rather than criminal offence, unless they have damaged anything whilst using your drive?
