To ask how you refer to your DD's vulva?

I'm not sure if this has been done a million times before but here's my dilemma:

We speak three languages at home (including English, but it's neither my DH nor my mother tongue). In all of those languages, there are plenty of nice/cute/child appropriate ways to refer to ours son's penis.

Now my DD (15 months) has begun to show an interest in her genitals. But she is pointing at them and then uses the word that we use for our son's penis. I want to offer her a nice name that is neither technical, nor has been sexualised or turned into an insult.

None if our languages offers a solution.

Any ideas??

We use vulva.

Oh, we use pinkie currently, it was twinkle, then Twinkie but dd2 can only refer to it as her pinkie. "Daddy hasn't got a pinkie", says dd2 with a sadace.... "but he does have a woolly- that's embarrassing" poor guy shuts the door now

Our daughter calls it her 'gina (short for vagina, not as in Gina G!)

Vulva here.

My DDs (5 and 7) do know the correct terminology but we tend to use 'girl parts' for everyday.

Privates

I work with children and they tend to say foofoo, tuppence, flower, fairy, privates or wee wee.

Do a search on here are there are a trillion choices. There was a very funny one the other day but I can't remember what it was.

I can't say vulva without laughing hysterically about one of those daft things children write where vulva and Volvo where mixed up.

We used front bottom. I know. The shame.

I don't like hearing children say vulva and vagina

I don't even hear many adults say the proper terms. They tend to use "your bits"

We call them bits

I only have my Son but with him I refer to it as my foof... originally called it my foo foo but had to stop after he publicly accused his nursery teacher of singing a rude song (little bunny foo foo)..... I hadn't put the two together!

Front bum. And back bum for the actual bum! Nice and easy for her, understandable for anyone outside of family if it was ever necessary for her to talk to someone about her vulva. We'll introduce technical terms later! (She's 2)

DD3 calls it a wee-er.

DD is just four and she has come up with wee-wee bottom and poo-bottom. I'm interested what words other people use as I want to explain her vulva to her as she's been asking exactly how babies get out.

She currently has no idea that there are three holes, so I do want to tell her.

I like foo foo! We definitely want to teach her the correct terminology but not just yet. I want something she can pronounce now...

We call it a floof. She's 5 and knows the proper name too.

Bottom. Don't see the need to distinguish it at two tbh....
