AIBU too find this lady utterly crazy, and words fail me on how to describe him.

"As abused children often go onto be abusers themselves" bullshit! And it's been proved too! Lots of offenders have CLAIMED to have also been victims (in hopes of sympathy and a lighter sentence) the majority of those claims that have been investigated have been found to be false. It's an urban myth!

And yes I'll reserve my sympathies for the victims (which I suspect there are a number for this bastard!)

Honestly I think it should be far more socially unacceptable to stay with these creeps!

A woman I thought was cool stayed with her husband. I still can't understand why she did this, having children. Even worse, many in our village are still matey with them and he's back!

Red Helen having looked online, there is no evidence that I'm aware of that being abused is linked to becoming an abuser, except in the case of child-on-child sexual abuse.
